Cleo continued to laugh for a moment and eventually settled down into a sigh and moved fully back to Alex, her hands resting on his chest. "Oh, You're fun." She said, the ends of her laughter still lighting up her voice.
"Kiss me again?" She asked. Stepping closer to him.
(which lip is pierced? she would know, having felt it, but I'm just curious. lol)

Her hands moved up to the sides of his face as his lips pressed against hers and she sighed into the kiss before her hands slipped back and into his hair again and she pressed deeper into the kiss.

She chuckled too and squeaked softly as he picked her up, her arms wrapping tightly around him, not out of fear but simply desire to be closer to him. Her feet lifted and her ankles crossed as he kissed her and she returned the kiss before dropping her feet back down.
After a moment she broke the kiss and her hand moved across his cheek something. "Tell me something you haven't told me yet." She asked him in a whisper.

He chuckled as the kiss ended, moving his hand to stroke her cheek and run a thumb across her lips softly. "Hmm..I Really like bees but my favorite animals are Bats.. My middle name is Riley. My birthday is actually December Eighteenth. Uh.. My birth moms name is Jenna. She was an addict and gave me up because of it. Shes apparently clean now but I don't really care and that probably makes me.a bad person?" He shrugged and planted a kiss on her nose. "Now you."

Cleo moved her cheek into his hand, her eyes closing, and her lips parted ever so slightly as his thumb moved over them.
"Oh I'm terrified of bees! She told him. I used to be fine with them until I was doing a nature clean up project and my group got too close to a nest. I got stung several times, even through my clothes, and one flew up into my sweater. I've tried to get over my fear but now they just terrify me." She admitted with a little laugh. "Bats are awesome though!" She said.
"I don't think it makes you a bad person at all." she assured him, her hands moving gently up and down his chest. She smirked when he kissed her nose, she liked that, it was cute.
"Um, let's see. My favorite animal is a fox. My birthday is August 22nd. I don't have a middle name. I..." She hesitated. "I feel a lot of regret about my past relationship. I wish I could have taken it back, I wish I had never met him, I wish I had gotten out sooner. Even knowing I'm not at fault, doesn't make me feel any less guilty about it all." She admitted.

"Ok I should be clear..I like bumble bees. Fuck honey bees. Frankly they're invasive and endangering the bumblers. I am passionate about bees." He chuckled as he spoke. "I like foxes a lot too actually. I just really like how adorable bats are and honestly they're just fuzzy babies. My least favorite animals are otters. They're dicks." He laughed a bit. His chest was slender, his ribs could be just slightly felt if she pressed even softly. "Some people fall for the wrong people sometimes. I can understand wanting to take it back.. If it helps I don't think less of you because of it.. I think you're amazingly strong."

"Okay! Bumblebees are adorable, and yes, bats are super cute. I always get excited when I see them outside even though my friends get all creeped out by them. I honestly don't get it. Bats rocks." She laughed when he talked about otters. "Otters?!" She said with a laugh.
"Thank you." She said softly to him when he said she was strong. "I feel stronger now." She said, moving once more to rest her head against his chest. "Because of you."

"Yeah otters are terrible. I really like most animals honestly " He chuckled as he put one hand on the back of her neck, stroking her hair. "No you we're strong before me. Im just a good shield for you.. Is there anything I shouldn't do or should know that may scare or remind you of that? I know its different but I'm still an addict and theres things that I'll see or that people will do that do make it hard not to relapse. I can imagine there may be things that may kinda put you mentally back into that." He spoke softly, holding her close.
"Im so torn because I want to navigate the rest of this.. But I'm also worried it will kinda end if we do."

"I don't really know, to be honest. I haven't been in another relationship since so I don't know what might trigger me. I can promise that I'll let you know if anything comes up though." She explained softly. "What is it that you struggle with?" She asked, not having heard he was an addict before.
"Well, think about it this way. It can only move forward if we finish the maze right? Otherwise we'll be stick in this limbo forever." She said sweetly, her hand slipping down to hold his.

"So..this is probably the part where you cut and run..When I was a teenager I got into Heroin. I.. Uh.. Im not proud of it.. My left arm still has scars..I got involved with some bad people and I kinda got into it.. I've been sober and clean for about Eight years now and never wanna touch it again.. But that also means I dont touch any drugs. It's not easy some days especially when you kinda see that stuff going around at some shows.. But I have zero desire and havent actually had a relapse... If this is too much I get it.. I should have said something sooner but.. Its not... Something I'm proud of.." He sighed and turned his head a bit.
He squeezed her hand and laced his fingers with hers. "True.. Do you wanna lead the way?"

Still holding his hand Cleo took her free hand and slipped it up his chest, over his neck, and rested against his cheek. Her thumb stroking his cheek softly.
After a few moments she spoke. "I'm not going to cut and run." She told him gently. "Your past doesn't define you. While I won't lie and say it doesn't make me a tiny bit nervous, I'm not going anywhere. You've been clean for so long now and I believe in you. And I'll be there to help you however I can. I'll help lighten the load, Alex. You won't have to keep doing this alone." She told him. "Okay?"

He pressed his cheek into her hand and smiled, a small sigh escaping his lips. "God I love you..." He laughed a bit clearly out of relief.
"I understand its a lot.. Im very very far away from that life and those people.. I can promise that.. I did NA for a few years too just to kinda do the full circle..I don't have a record for it or anything either.. My worst thing is a speeding ticket I got like a year ago and I totally deserved that.. I just kinda.. I dunno semi wanted to tell you in person.. Thats probably the worst thing about me though honestly.. I can't thank you enough for being so amazing and understanding.." He moved his face and kissed her hand softly

"I can imagine that would have been hard to try to express through the pod wall. So nice of the Producers to put this together for us then, huh?" She said with a soft chuckle. "You are amazing, Alex. You managed to get out of that life and didn't go back. That has to take an insane amount of strength and resilience. You don't give yourself enough credit, you're an incredible man. And I'm really lucky to have met you."
She stood on her toes and reached up to place a kiss on his lips once more.

"Really nice.. I'll leave them some Carioca. " He nodded as he kissed her head softly. "Honestly my parents were really great to me.. Most people would expect them to have been furious and they just kinda understood didn't ask questions and helped me.. It wasn't me.. I wasn't a good person high... not that I was violent or had outbursts..I was pathetic and clingy and I kept changing to be what people wanted me to be.. I'm better and happier now." He nodded.
He wrapped an arm around the small of her back and pulled her close, kissing her softly. "So..What do you say we get out of this maze so I can wow you with another date and then a proposal.. or we can skip the another date and get out of here go back to glass and get all romantic."

A small pinprick of green light lit up and showed them which path they needed to go down. Once they followed it they would reach their first turn. LEFT, RIGHT, or MIDDLE?
Each round going forward will consist of 2 turns. So BOTH of you should pick a direction from the 3 available options. I have a predetermined order of correct turns you need to make in the correct order to get to the end. Good luck!

"Oh so I can tell you that you've gotta meet me in the pod after you finish your other dates today? I can shotgun this?" He teased her and chuckled softly. "So you a white to the wedding kinda girl?" He laughed a bite more as he went towards a left turn.
