She blinked and her eyes widened as he just handed her his damn card. What the actual hell? "PARKER Parks waitwaitwait does it have a pin? What do you want me to do with it? I have money. Like not a lot but some I can...This is weird." She said all in a rush, she was a bit thrown for a loop, on one hand he certainly had the money that the things he wanted were probably not really that much to him so it would make sense, but she felt really weird about using his card. "..F...fine but I owe you." She said as she huffed over to Val and Blake. "Hey Blake..do you care if I steal Val for a little bit maybe a little later after you guys pick out some books? I kinda need her help with some uh...girl.. related things.." She said as she looked a little embarrassed. If he hesitated she would totally start spewing out about how she needed condoms and maybe birth control and maybe even period stuff, it was all lies, she wanted those non squid undies. She was ready to get some talking time in with her buddy. "Ifff that would be ok with you Val..." She grinned sheepishly. (skip permission given by Val)

Valeria smiled as she listened to Blake. She couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit of jealousy when he mentioned River. Really, she had no idea where that came from because it was completely irrational. This man clearly only had eyes for her and she for one was not going to let him go. "It's ok, I like hearing you talk about things you care about, it's just really nice" she said, still smiling like a lovestruck puppy. "And I'm a fan of you reading cookbooks, I'll be your taste tester any day" she said with a laugh. "I'm a reader if you count adventure magazines as reading material," she admitted.
Val pulled herself away from Blake to turn her attention to Shaan, "You know, I could probably use a quick trip to the ladies room now that I think about it, maybe check out some of that girl stuff," she said quickly. "You'll be ok with Parker right?" she asked Blake with a quick peck on cheek. Parker sure acted like he knew his way around airports, probably this one in particular if he flew as often as she thought. Though part of her was still worried about Blake getting lost in an airport and panicking. It wasn't like they had cell phones to call each other.

"Good, because you signed up as test taster numero uno when you agreed to marry me." He told her with a devlish grin. He snuck in a quick kiss to her cheek. When Shaan came over he smiled at her, and then glanced at Val. "Oh! Yeah no problem." Completely unphased by their need for "lady things." He worked in a hospital, he could name off several things that were far grosser than a case of the monthlies. He gave Valeria Winter a quick side hug and smiled at her. "I'll keep him out trouble." He told her. He rubbed her back and then looked over to where Parker was, before back down to Shaan. "We'll probably stay here for a bit, and then head down to the gate, so we can meet you, ladies, there." He told them. He then leaned his lips in to Val's ear. "I'll sit down if I feel woozy or even the hint of a cold sweat again. I'll be good. Parker will be a good distraction." He told her reassuringly before he placed a kiss on the cheek. "Have fun." He told her with a grin. Blake would let Val go then before he wandered over to Parker Domino and nudged him. "How are you feeling dude?" He asked him now that the girls were gone. He hoped the awkward energy that was coming off everybody would disappear. |

"Alright, I'll see you soon sweetheart,"Valeria said, sneaking one more quick peck on Blake's lips.
Then she turned her attention to Shaan, "let's get some lady stuff?" Val said with a bright grin. She waved over to Parker, "Don't lose him," she warned, a mostly joking threat. Then she looped her arm with Shaan's and lead them out of the bookstore and into Victoria Secret.

Parker couldn't help but chuckle, he felt bad but Shaan was kinda adorable when she got a little flustered, "it's fine, I promise. I want yummy things too." he said. Parker was flipping over various landmark and more geographically general books to see if they had sections about Santorini. He was starting to accumulate a couple different options. His home housed many books he only read a few pages from, and even more unread books, but bookshelves look cool and make cooler doors. His eyes sparkled just a little when the ladies left for chocolate and who knows what else, though he did know that if he did lose Blake in a crowd, Val would probably come skin him alive. He looked over to Blake Carson. "Completely smitten," he said with a dopey grin that he'd probably get every time he thought about Shaan for a while. "And relieved... because I really thought I lost her for a little bit," he admitted. "So is Val everything you ever imagined?" he asked, giving Blake a little nudge. He had to admit, both of the ladies were even more beautiful than he had imagined, and each in their own flavor of hotness. |
