You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)

Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse

Like its the best gatorade...but its still just gatorade Nothing too special. Im great when youre really fucked up." She laughed at the last bit. "So whats on your netflix list as far as shows go. Top three. The Witcher, You and probably like..the 100 even though its not netflix netflix...its on there."

Trout laughed at her comment. "Blue is totally the best Gatorade, although I haven't been 'fucked up' since college. My Netflix definitely has The Witcher...I liked Frontier, and uh, Troy has a subtitle, like, fall of a city or something like that? I can't remember. Enough action, but not like, only action, you know?" He thought for a minute, then asked, "Did you ever play the Witcher games?"

Trout hmmed as he considered his answer. "I keep meaning to get to those but I haven't figured out what order to go in. Like, there are titles and not numbers. My best friend, Travis, he loves them, but for some reason, he sucks at explaining things. So I haven't gotten around to it. If you can tell me where to start, I'll do it." He paused, then added. "I really love the Assassin's Creed games. Portal was good too, totally weird, but good."

"Ah yes an easy one. Origins and then two then Inquisition. Two is my favorite but im the minority there. Im working on getting to Assassins creed. Its nice to meet another video game nerd here though, was worried a lot of guys would find that a turn off." She let out a laugh and a pleased sigh. Pssh, Trout scoffed at her comment about a turn-off. "Nah, any guy who thinks that is crazy. Girls can do whatever the hell they want. But hm, I dunno if it counts as a hobby, but I pretty much taught myself a few coding languages. I love working on that kind of stuff, so I keep learning new tricks and styles when I get bored. I also like watching youtube videos on how to do random stuff. Like, there's this Australian guy who likes making cheese, and he's great. Totally chill dude, just making cheese in his kitchen. It's pretty weird, but I just like knowing things. I dunno." He paused, then added, Oh, and uh, I also play Dungeons and Dragons..."

Dude, are you kidding? That's fucking amazing. I fucking love it." Trout's voice was still quiet, but it gained quite a lot of intensity as he answered about D&D. Shaan might even be able to tell that he'd leaned closer to the glass between them, by the way his voice moved. "My best friend got me into D&D in college, and I haven't stopped since. It's great. We usually keep it pretty serious, but every once in awhile we do a meme oneshot where we can just be stupid. Like, we did one that was the fast and the furious, but it was with chariot racing instead of cars, and we were trying to cheat with magic. It was ridiculous."

Shaan actually did move closer to the glass, sitting by it by the fact that her voice got a bit clearer "Ok DnD is cool, My systema instructor actually got me into it, him and a few guys from the class played and I mentioned video games, and it was just history. I love a serious game, which shockingly the moth was serious. We've had some... interesting one shots though. Someone may have snorted goblin ashes.. It was not me.

He hesitated, then asked, "Kay, I'll admit I have no idea what systema is. It sounds like a science thing, but if it were science I feel like I'd have heard of it before. Is it a sport or something?"

"Well we went to hell over it.. So I would say there was some punishment." She let out a laugh and then there it was, the turning point. "Ok so please don't freak.. Systema is.. It's a Russian martial art that a lot of special forces used to use.. It's intense.. I also know Muay Thai.. and uh.. Krav Maga..My grandmother kinda.. enrolled me in Systema at like six and then the Muay thai and.. well when I turned Eighteen it was Krav Maga time.. So I'm like a living weapon basically. I took monk and fighter and kicked them both up to like level eight... And that's usually totally intimidating for most people."

Well, it depends on the day. If there are meetings then I'll go in to the office so I have to be up early to tame my bedhead and get dressed. If there's no meetings then I'll sleep in a little more and work from home. work is usually 8 til 4:30 or something like that, but I'm salaried so like, some days I leave earlier and some days stuff goes all to hell and they need me to help fix it at 8 at night. After that I make dinner and feed Tubbs, then either game or watch Netflix before bed. Every other Friday I've got D&D to get me out of the apartment. What about you? Fighting evil by night?"

"Ok so Im super happy. I usually get up early and go for a run or stretch do some training. I pick up coffee and breakfast and come home for a shower then it really depends. Some days I focus on my art and go to the park and sketch. Some days I like to game. Work usually is at night so I get ready an hour before my shift do my hair and makeup and pick up takeout for dinner on the way home.. I cannot cook." she let out a laugh at that.
"Then i curl up with like four blankets and sleep and repeat."

"I'm no chef, but Mom made sure I could at least handle some basic stuff, so I can make sure you're fed," Trout laughed. "Well that settles it, you're gonna have to teach me a bit, I have failed in pretty much everything I cooked... And I'm looking forward to that lasagna now. I do mostly sketching, I love charcoal sketches of people, animals, all sorts of stuff but I'm not bad with a mechanical pencil either, and I can do pottery but I'm not amazing at it." She gave a small chuckle.
"Ok so thats a massive yes, I really really do want to hear see you again."
