You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)
Occupation
Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse
Hobbies/Passions

"Bingo!" He laughed. He clapped and rubbed his hands together then. "Oh ho hooooo, throwing down a challenge are we? Alright, Alright. Bring it on little lady." He said the last bit in his best impersonation of a southern accent. "You gotta help me out here though because "Science" Is a wide umbrella. We talking about Chemistry? Biology? Zoology, Marine Biology, Physics, Earth science, Is your name Gaia? Botony?" He rattled off. "Narrow it down." He requested with a chuckle.

It took Blake a moment to figure out the Latin, and even then he wasn't sure if he had gotten it correct. "....moths? Right? Normally my Latin consist of human body parts and other gross guts." He laughed. He rubbed his jaw. "This is gonna be hard, do I get a consolation prize?" He asked.

"Beautiful name." Blake told her. "Got a Medical one." He chuckled. "Mostly all my knowledge is in medical terminology, chemistry, and that good stuff. Science was also my best subject in school. I also went into some real in depth research once, thinking I wanted a butterfly garden. So that's how I knew all those names." He outed himself. "Ended going with a vegetable and herb one instead. Might get a butterfly one eventually though. What is it you do Speyeria?"

"I have a bachelor's in agriculture, with a minor in game design. I actually own a flower shop. My mom studied butterflies in excess, and named my brothers and I after her favorite species."

“That is very cool! We’ll have to talk plants on date 2... if I’m allowed one.” He sheepishly laughed. “I also really like cooking. Honestly anything to keep my hands busy, I’ve got a lot of energy a lot of the time and like to focus my attention on focusing on one thing. Also, really like a challenge.” He grinned. “So your own flower shop huh? That’s pretty impressive, did your mom have a bit of influence in what you wanted to do?”

"That time already? Damn, time sure does fly when you're having fun." He chuckled. "Okay, to ensure that I actually get my second date, our next guessing game will take place on the subject of favorite movie, or music if you prefer." He grinned. "But as for final thoughts, I like you Speyeria. Your witty and got a cute laugh. Plus I think you'll actually let me ramble about my plants and know what the heck I'm saying without falling asleep on me."
