You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)
Occupation
Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse
Hobbies/Passions

Oh, shi--I mean, crap. Um, I really love Assassin's Creed and Legend of Zelda, I've been playing a lot of Overwatch lately, though, because my D&D group and I can play together. It gets pretty crazy with all of us yelling at each other, but it's fun." He laughed. "What about you, what kind of games do you like?"

"Nah, I just didn't have a good answer! I like too many to have one favorite. But yeah, I've played Skyrim, and mine is modded all to hell too. My friend Dave made some of them himself, he's even geekier than me. As for Overwatch, it's kinda hit or miss. If you've got a good team it's fun, but like, some people get really crazy over their mics to random strangers. Like, as a girl, you might get a lot of shit from people. My guess is you'd probably make them regret it, though."

"Dude, that's insanely cool. I always wanted to work on games, but I went for web instead because it's got pretty high demand. I figure, if I'm making okay money, then I can learn game stuff on my own time the same way I did with coding. I'd say my dream game would be like, something kinda like Skyrim but with a Roman theme. So like, you could be a gladiator, or a soldier, or an emperor, or whatever. Maybe the Gods can be in there? It'd be nuts."

Like, imagine if you got to find--or maybe earn?--the shield with Medusa's face on it, and like, it slowed your enemies or something. That would be amazing." Trout got pretty excited and talked quickly as he ran through his idea. "Designing games with a partner would be totally cool. Do you work on them already? Or would it be a new thing for you?"

Hmmmm I better tell you some good stuff quick. Uh, I have a fat cat named Tubbs, yes it is after the phone app one. I can't stand beer, it smells like pee. I didn't learn to ride a bike til I was in college....uhh...I think I'm out of fun facts....Oh, the only time I went to a college party I puked in a girl's purse. I put that right in my dating history on the paperwork for this, because that's about how well my love life usually goes."

"It's called Nekoatsume. You have like, a little back yard you decorate with stuff and put out food to attract cute little animated cats. Tubbs shows up and eats all the food himself and then takes a nap. My main hobby is pretty much video games, although I also like watching weird how to videos on YouTube, and playing Dungeons and Dragons. Oh and yeah, two siblings, Kyle and Annie."

Pizza,hands down. Pepperoni and olives. As far as D&D, that's pretty much exactly what it's like, except one person knows the whole plan and makes a cool adventure for you to go on. So that way there are cool surprises. And like, whenever you try to do something, you've gotta roll for it. Depending what number you get, some real crazy stuff can go down.

As a teaser--I played a bard in my last campaign who was trying to find all the members of his old band, but they all actually hate him. It was pretty funny."
