Trout put his suitcase in his room, barely resisting the urge to take his laptop with him out to the lounge area. He'd promised his best friend that he'd actually put his full energy into this and not spend the whole time playing video games. He wasn't too sure he was gonna fit in, but hey, he'd give it his best shot.
He went out to the kitchen and made a beeline for the chocolate as soon as he saw it.
"Dude, you're a lifesaver. All this stress has me craving sugar like nobody's business." He told the guy who was already eating one, deciding to stand near him in the kitchen as the others talked about...music? Was that it? He was a little surprised that many musicians had joined, but maybe that type of person was more likely to sign up for something this crazy, huh? Oh, he hadn't even said anything about himself. "Shit, uh, I'm Trout, by the way. Probably shoulda said that first."

Penn smiled at Trout Latimer as the man came over. "To be fair, I'm always craving sugar, but ya, especially now." He replied. "I'm Penn." He said as the man introduced himself, waving him off for having not said it earlier. "What do you for a living, Trout?" He asked curiously. He was sure he'd have a hard time getting all the random facts of everyone straight, especially with how many new he'd be meeting in the coming days, but it was still worth making the effort...right? |

"I'm a web designer. I basically put all the new features and things on the website and the app for this grocery company. It's not super exciting, but I like the work." He shrugged and put an entire oreo in his mouth, chewing and swallowing before he could think what to say next. Geez, if he couldn't even do that, he was gonna totally tank the dates with the people who really mattered. Ugh. Just thinking about it made him feel all jittery. He smiled at Hugh Pennington anyway. "What about you, Penn? What kind of stuff do you do?"

Dean looked around, tagging the various conversations. He wasn't musically inclined, so that one was out. Penn and Trout were chatting, though he wasn't one-hundred percent sure he got those names right. He turned to Parker Domino. "A whiskey guy then?" He asked with a smile. "You think this place has a pool table or Foosball or something?" He asked, looking around. |

"Oh no way!" Said Penn with interest. "That's awesome! I'm a software developer actually, so I'm super familiar with all that sort of thing. That's really cool." He said with a smile, grabbing another Oreo and twisting it open before biting into one half at a time. "How long have you been doing that for?" He asked Trout Latimer.

"I only had to do a 2 year degree program so it's been like...well yeah about 2 and a half years now if you count when I was still an underpaid intern. I'm only 24 though so I've got time to build experience." Trout answered with a shrug. Honestly he still felt like he was a teenager trying to fake this whole 'adult life's thing, but he was doing his best at least. That's cool that you're in tech too, dude. What kind of stuff do you work on?

"Awesome, that's really cool. Ya, you have plenty of time!" Penn said with enthusiasm, he liked talking tech. "I'm managing my own team right now, we are focused on games at the moment. A lot of converting certain games into stuff you can use on your phone, also working on a few RPGs, an MMO, and a few purely cell phone games. It's the ads that kill me, why do they have to have so many ads." He said with a little chuckle. Trout Latimer

"Oh man, I really hope there's a pool table. I think I saw a pool outside too, either type of pool works for me," Parker said to Dean Baelish, peeking around. "I like to be doing something when I'm thinking and sometime tells me I'll be doing a lot of thinking over the next few days. I wonder what all the girls are like. I hope there will be some that are like really chill."

Parker laughed and followed Dean Baelish out of the kitchen to look around. "Drama is so not my thing so I hope there aren't any fights. I like fiesty and adventurous girls and I think she's got to have a bit wildness if she's going to be able to live with me, but she's gotta have some kind of chill too. I want a girl who will rough it in Bali with me but also like chill enough to go watch some sunrises on mountains." he said. "I think I have an idea of what I want, but from what I hear, ideas like that change when there's love," he said that last part in an overly dramatic mocking tone. |

Dean laughed at Parker Domino's dramatic tone. "So they say. Maybe we'll find out. I mean, best case scenario, everyone connects with someone different and it will be all rainbows and butterflies, but this is television with at least a bit of real life so I suppose we can't expect that everything will as smoothly as one would hope." They came around the corner and found another lounge area with a big pool table in the center, a ping pong table near the edge of the room and a Foosball table on the other side. "Jackpot." Dean said with a grin. "So you travel a lot then?" He asked Parker. |

"Oh hell yeah!" Parker exclaimed when he saw the pool table, "I have no doubt that at least some people will like the same people. I think I'm really specific flavor so I hope I won't have that problem. I think a lot of these girls will want some smooth-talking prince charming or something, not really me. These other guys, they look really settle down and stable type of guys. I won't be surprised if I'm just not anyone's cup of tea." He walked over to the pool table and picked up a pool cue. "Wanna shoot a round?"

Parker aimed his pool cue and broke, "Looks like I'm solids," he announced. "No, not unstable, at least not mentally. I'm just... nomadic. I'm a travel blogger so the whole home for dinner every evening just isn't really my thing. I want to get hitched and all, but with someone that's cool enough to at come with me at least sometimes. Like I've got a house and I've had an ex or two live in it, but girlfriend level commitment was... weird." Parker stepped aside so Dean Baelish had some space. "I just want someone that still cares about me, wherever in the world I am. What about you dude?" |

"Wow, that's definitely a unique lifestyle. Good luck man, I hope she's here somewhere for ya." He said, taking his turn and lining up the cue, he used a solid ball to knock into a striped ball which fell into the corner pocket. "I want to find someone who wants to have fun. I'm not exactly a cuddle in the couch and watch tv every night kind of guy. Sometimes is fine, but not as our go-to. I want to be with someone who wants to enjoy our youth while we have it, be a little crazy, go on adventures, take a risk. I guess I also need someone who can help ground me and tone me down."
