First Impressions

Shaan entered making a bee line for the food and filling her plate. She noticed one of the othere girls looking lost in thought. "Some day huh."

Valeria walked into the room dead set that she was not going to the first to name any names. There would be no jinxing her mixed up heart. "Very... hit or miss," she said thoughtfully as she started to fill her plate. She wasn't really one for the girl talk but she was curious.

“Hello.” Gem said quietly, easily deduced as being a timid individual. Her eyes flickered over the other girls, lips curling into a smile, returning the friendliness where it was offered. “It was,” she shook her head, “totally awkward at some points...but some of them were charming enough to make it okay.” She smiled to herself. She was surely thinking of particular people.

Speyeria had a mouthful of food when Lainey Yurkovich mentioned butterflies. She finished her mouthful before chuckling. "I could crack a joke about butterflies and my name, but I think I'm all talked out on them today. Care to spill the deets?"

Cleo sat down and curled up her feet under her as she dug into her fries, listening with a smile. "Awwww, that's so amazing Lainey!" She crooned sweetly to the girl. "I'm impressed you made a connection like that so quickly! I felt like there was a lot of guys that caught my attention but none strong enough to settle on only one this early. I'm so happy for you." She said to Lainey Yurkovich.

Shaan found a chair and sat watching and munching on her food silently. She had an idea or two it was who the girl was fawning over based on the latest description, a small frown crossed her face as she crossed her legs, sitting on them in the chair. "I found a few I'm interested in.. three guys caught my eye honestly." She swallowed a bite of food at the start of the opinions she spoke. "Parkers one of the ones I liked a lot actually."

"We talked mostly about his trips and my dog. I dunno, he gave me best friend vibes more than husband vibes." Lainey said. With a shrug. Sighing a bit in relief that neither of them had added her boy to their list. She bit into her carrot and looked around at the others to see if they would chime in, or add someone new to talk about.

Gemini kept quiet. She desperately wanted to hear what the other girls thought, as seen by how her eyes jumped to whoever was speaking, but she also tucked food into her mouth so she had a good reason not to say anything. When they started talking about Parker, she contributed. "I thought Parker was a great guy, too. I can confidently say there is one guy who more or less eliminated me from his interests when he described the kind of girl he wanted to marry..." she hesitated, color rising to her cheeks. "Dean."

Cleo never liked to feel like she was butting into a conversation at the wrong time and interrupting someone so she waited for a pause before adding her own thoughts. "Parker was really nice, we had a nice conversation actually. I wouldn't mind getting to know him more. I've never traveled much myself, I don't know I would be a good travel companion." She said with a little chuckle as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Dean was a bit intense for me, so no worries from me either Lainey Yurkovich. Penn was sweet but we didn't really click. I liked Blake a lot actually, he seemed really awesome. I love that he knows he wants a family, I could imagine us working out. Alex was really cool, I had a lot of fun with him. I don't know much about music so I hope that's not a big no for him. I'd like to see him again." She said with another laugh, this one a little more nervous. "Percy and all his cats, he was definitely cute, we had a good conversation. I didn't really click with Trout or Liam either." She paused. "Is that everyone?" She laughed. "I didn't really mean to mention all of them."
