First dates have been completed and they went well for some people and not so well for others. You submitted your list to The Producers of the top 4-5 people that you wanted to see again and The Producers organized dates as accordingly as they could. If there was someone you missed out on, there will be chances in the future.
The second round of dates will be twice as long as the first. You will have 4-5 dates total this round. For the second dates you are given full freedom to use your creative/romantic juices! If you want to provide food for your date, or a game, or basically anything you can think of then please free to do so, The Producers will provide what you need! The only rules are that you have to stay in your own pods. No seeing each other, no touching. So have at it and have fun!

Valeria was up too late trying to come up with a way to do a whiskey shootout before actually meeting in person and finally she came up with it. She made sure Alex was her last date of the day for a very good reason. She had production set up a game of battleshots! There was a board, five shot glasses, and a bottle of Four Roses whiskey with a note that said "Game on!" On the other side, Valeria already had her shot glasses set up. (Note: I put her squares in her date journal  and she only has 4 dates so up to you if it's your last one or not) |

Alex entered the Pod and there was a loud shout of yes from his side and rather heavy footfalls as he ran over to the table the clinking of glasses was heard as he set up his shots. "Is this about to be battle shots!? I heard about this game but I've never played it, what are the rules and let me guess.... I'm forbidden from a pre game shot...because Im eyeing this bottle.. You have good taste." There was a laugh from him.
"It's really really good to talk to you again."

Valeria laughed when she heard Alex enter, "Oh hell yeah we're about to battle! Back home I actually made boards that fold up into dividers, but I guess no peeking isn't anything we have to worry about." There was a clink as Valeria moved her pieces around.
"The rules are simple, we take turns calling out squares, if I hit one of your ships, you have to drink it. Winner is last shot standing or when you tap out. My house rules say shot stacking is allowed, so you can have multiple shots on one square, but I don't wanna kill you. Drinking extra is allowed, but that's your own funeral," she said, full of mischief.
"I figured this would be the perfect game to make good on my whiskey shootout challenge and there's plenty of talking in between," she said with a laugh, "I'll go first. A3."

"Ok this is a dream date not gonna lie. I promise I wouldn't peek anyway.. Unless I've only hit one shot and youre about to sink all mine, then I would totally peek." He let out a laugh as he made his shots finalized. He did pick up the bottle and take a small drink from it, just to sate his curiosity. "God thats some good stuff, you pick well. I promise I only had a tiny sip." He let out a laugh.
"I think you came up with the perfect game. Well done Ms.Winters." Another chuckle and the sound of him blowing a raspberry. "Thats a miss. B4? So any burning topics on your mind while we shoot our shots so to speak?"

"Why thank you, I don't plan often, but when I do plan, I play hardball," Valeria said, "Four Roses is what I typically keep at my place, super solid and great for cocktails. I forgot to ask you what your go to was so I sent you mine."

"I'm the same way, I don't usually plan a lot I like to go with the flow, My go to? Hmm, I'm gonna be judged because I'm such a cheap date but Jack. I like their single barrel for a bit higher stuff, though I will admit, I like rum and whiskey equally." He laughed a small bit.
"Actually yes, It's good practice for when I do have kids, which I want some day, either biological or adopted... You forgot to ask so I'm totally breaking game etiquette A6? You can double up on me if you want." He teased slightly "Since the subject came up... Do you want kids ever? I know thats a weird thing to ask I just figure it's good to get it out."

"Hey Jack's black label is actually pretty solid, I hope to have it at the taproom when it opens," Valeria said, then she laughed.
"Oh shit I swear I'm not drunk already. I can't believe I totally just screwed up at my own game. I'll have you know that back at home, I'm totally a champion at Battleshots, not that there's a whole lot of strategy to it, I just never tap out. You missed, but I'm going to go with C4 and C5."
"I love kids, or at least the idea of them since I don't have any that I'm super close to. I really want to be a mom someday," Valeria said, daydreaming a little. "Growing up it was just my brother and I and our single mom, so I want a really big family one day. My mom was an only child so I never had cousins or anything. My brother got engaged last year so it would be really cool to have kids around the same time, so they'll never be lonely. I think it's good to talk about stuff like this early on, I mean after all we're all trying to get married around here right? It's pretty important to talk about."
"Do you have any siblings?"

"I'm glad not to be mocked for my alcohol choices, Kraken is an amazing rum though and thats my splurge usually." He laughed. "No no I believe you, I trust theres a very delicate balance to battle shots that ends with me in the bathtub. My go to drunk sleep off place for some damn reason. D3?" There was a small laugh.
"That sounds nice actually. I've been a few foster babies and kids mom took in, they weren't permanent but I loved having them around." There was a happy sigh. "I'm glad, I know in like every other way talking about kids on a second date is terrible but I like to get to know if someone is gonna work or not. I want kids, like atleast two just because I like the idea of more than one kid."
"So I have three adopted brothers. Andrew Jace and Gaíre. Andrew is the oldest and Jace is the youngest, he just turned 21. Gaíre and I float in the middle."

"Miss. E1? Bathtub huh? That doesn't sound very comfortable." Valeria said with a chuckle. "Kraken is more of my brother's go to. I'll drink most things that are decently made, but I do have strong opinions about beer for obvious reasons."
She laughed again, "I know right? I feel like this whole experiment just gets us talking about stuff we'd normally never talk about, but we have like a week to decided if we're going to propose to someone so I don't think anything is off the table right now. Just come on out with the deepest darkest secrets," she said, mostly joking.
"I could never imagine what being an only child is like. I would've been so lonely if I didn't have my brother, like just so bored. I'm already 27 and I'd want a little time as a couple first so I probably won't have time to have like a dozen kids, but I def want at least two."

I didn't realize jungle juice was as strong as it was and I dont remember most of the night but I know it was fun. Ever since me and the bathtub have been close." He chuckled a bit.
"I honestly love it, theres no wasting time with incompatible people and I don't have to have the whole 'Oh he looks scary' or 'He's into weird stuff' because of how I dress and look or people assume I'm into things I'm not. I dont like wild parties and all that, I like simple and nice. If you want some deep dark secrets I got em, well more embarrassing ones but hey."
"Well I think we're compatible on that front at least, we both want kids, not right away but eventually."

"Hmmm... I still have a stuffed kangaroo from when I was 3 on my bed, her name is Fuzzy." She laughed. "My drunk sleep spot is my couch. If I'm drunk I think it's comfier than my bed. The answer is the opposite when I'm sober, I think it's whole walking up stairs that makes the difference. The couch is soft but it's a bit scratchy when you sleep naked."
"I think people think I'm scary too. I'm totally a jeans and t shirt girl, and I almost never wear makeup. I think I usually smell like beer and sawdust and I'm covered in both. I think this experiment is the longest I've gone without the smell of brewery. I don't think there's anything that can scare me though," Valeria said thoughtfully

He feigned an offended huff and then broke into laughter. "I understand though. Drunk me sleeps in whatever clothes I was in, sober me is underwear only."
"That's actually pretty exactly my type. So..I uh.. I'm Six five... and wearing the usual black boot doesn't make me any shorter, I'm usually in something ripped and black, I love a good leather jacket.. vegan leather usually though, not that I'm an activist but when possible I try to avoid most leather and pretty much all fur."
"Hmm now I'm trying to think of some deep intense secret.. Uh.. I had to do anger management as a kid? Though it was kinda bullshit, I got into a fight cause someone picked on my little brother."

You got one! I'm going to call that beginners luck though! B1?" There was the sound of a click as Valeria took the shot and set the empty class to the side. "I toss and turn in bed a lot and have at least four blankets, clothes get tangled too easily," she said with a laugh.
"You know, I'd be right up there with you if someone picked on my little brother too. I guess I'm lucky he was a well liked nerd, but he was probably bigger than all of the would be bullies anyways," Valeria said, "I got a detention once for cussing in an essay in english class, I don't think they liked my viewpoint either because Romeo and Juliet really are idiots that have communication problems and the whole thing isn't romantic. I got an A and detention.

"My parents weren't mad, some guy tried to give him shit and I got in his face, so him and his friend tried to fight me. I lost because I'm just one scrawny dude, he figured he needed a friend because I was taller than him. I did break his nose though." He chuckled a bit. "Ok but Romeo was a prick who caused everyone to die..like it can all be blamed on him.. Juliet needed some self esteem. Thats a horrible example of love."

"I like to pretend that I'm smarter with love than some stupid teenagers in Shakespeare's day but I guess the moral of the story is that stuff like love can make everyone an idiot. I mean, we're here thinking we might fall in love with someone enough to want to marry them in a week," Valeria always had a good natured laugh about it, but on the other hand it was a pretty serious matter that could change her future and she knew it. "I unfortunately haven't read much classic literature since graduating college though, actually I think I only had to take one more English class in college."

"Hey I will admit I am clueless about love, but I feel like theres so many better love stories than romeo and juliet, god I hope there are atleast." He chuckled. "It is kinda crazy that we're gonna be picking someone to spend our lives with so soon.. Crazy but at the same time exciting."
"I've read few pieces, though I certainly have my favorite and it isn't a love story.. Dorian Grey" There was a small laugh from him.
"Is it a deal breaker if I say no? Depending on what you'd classify, I did a trade school and got some certifications rather than college, That was the deal for me pursuing music with my dad, I had to have a backup and be trained to do it."

Valeria laughed, "Of course it's not a dealbreaker, college is hardly necessary these days, I guess especially for a musician unless you're doing like opera or something. Plus, it sounds like you really followed your passions. Are you a solo act or are you in a band?"

"So this self absorbed guy gets a painting done, he starts to drink and party and do all these thing in excess.. he notices the painting is aging and kinda looking worse for wear.. Basically the painting shows him decaying and dying but he himself is more or less immortal now. It's a morbid thing but I like it. I do both, I usually do my own solo stuff but I'm recording a few things right now and got some help from my brothers and a friend to make it a full song with things besides just one guitar."
