First dates have been completed and they went well for some people and not so well for others. You submitted your list to The Producers of the top 4-5 people that you wanted to see again and The Producers organized dates as accordingly as they could. If there was someone you missed out on, there will be chances in the future.
The second round of dates will be twice as long as the first. You will have 4-5 dates total this round. For the second dates you are given full freedom to use your creative/romantic juices! If you want to provide food for your date, or a game, or basically anything you can think of then please free to do so, The Producers will provide what you need! The only rules are that you have to stay in your own pods. No seeing each other, no touching. So have at it and have fun!
RULES - Remember to keep physical descriptions out of your conversations. - Each person gets only 20 posts in this thread! - Posts are limited to 300 words!
Will your connections grow stronger today or will you cross another name off your list of possibilities? !
This date is for Blake Carson & Cleo Saintclair!
What did you do to make this date special? Anything?

Upon entering the pod, Cleo would find the couch pushed off to the side and a red and white checkered blanket laid out on the floor with a wicker basket. Inside the wicker basket would be a bottle of wine, a wine glass and several wrapped sandwiches with in neat handwriting telling her what each sandwich was and what it had on it. There would be some sugar cookies included as well.
When Blake entered the pod he'd walk over to the drink cart and pour himself a glass of ginger ale before he sat down on the floor. "Hellooooooo?" He called out.

Inside Blake's pod he'd also find a wicker basket though when he opened the lid he'd find 4 items: rainbow chard, pine nuts, tomatillos, and orange marmalade. On top there was a little simply sketched photo of a man in a doctor's lab coat being tackled by six small kids. There was also a typed up list of six recipes: homemade oreo cookies, homemade pesto, cajun boil, paneer makhani, asparagus risotto, and parsnip muffins.
"Aww a picnic!" Cleo said delightedly as she entered the pod. "You're so sweet, Blake!" She called to him. "I'm assuming you put this together yourself?" She asked happily as she settled down onto the picnic blanket and the sound of plastic could be heard as she unwrapped a sandwich. She sighed contentedly. "How was your night last night?" She asked.

Blake opened the basket and let a low whistle out and then laughed at the little sketch of the doc being tackled by six kids. "You've captured my likeness quite well! I'm impressed!" He chuckled. "Also, this look amazing I definitely plan on using these, and I'm very excited to try out these recipes. Mine should be buried somewhere under those sandwiches." He told her. At the very bottom of the basket was several index cards and written in neat handwriting, with a recipe for each one. They included, homemade Chicken noodle soup, sugar cookies, homemade chili with cornbread, homemade pad tai, homemade cheese enchiladas, and coffee scones.
"I did! I did not hold back." He laughed. He picked his basket up and came to sit on the floor in front of the glass. He picked up the jar of marmalade and opened it before he dipped his pinky in and tasted the citrusy sweetness of it. "Damn that's good marmalade." He said with a small grunt of approval and closed the lid before putting it back in the basket. "Very busy I must confess." He chuckled. He didn't want to go into to much details, but he also wanted Cleo to get where he was coming from. "I wanted to make all these dates specials in their own way ya know?" He said. "So a lot of planning went in to make them as special as I could for you gals." He scratched his head. "I uh...well it was very hard because you ladies are all pretty awesome." He confessed. "And now I'm awkward and turning as red as one of the tomato's in your sandwich." He laughed.

“I figured you could use it like your own Chopped basket if you wanted to.” Cleo said with a little laugh. He then might hear the rustling of items as she went looking for the recipes and then paper against paper as she looked through the index cards. “Oh these look awesome! I’m getting the itch for cooking, that’s for sure.” She told him.
“Well Blake if the other dates are anything like mine then I’m sure you’ve blown everyone away. I certainly feel special.” She said kindly. “And don’t feel awkward.” She added with a gentle chuckle. “I get how...strange this all is. There are just as many interesting men as there are women. It’s impossible to make any sort of decision after day one.” She paused. “At least for most of us anyway.” She said thoughtfully.

"It just....feels weird you know? We're all dating the same people, and some people they the same person, and but nothing is going to go anywhere with that person unless the person they both like chooses, and its-" He paused and took a breath. "It's banana's." He chuckled.
"And good! I'm gad you feel special, you're a pretty special girl Cleo." He told her honestly. "I'm kind of curious about how the girls are feeling about all this. I know one guy can't pick, and another one seriously came in with hearts in his eyes declaring he'd already found the one." He laughed. "I don't know how, but he must of." He crossed his ankles. "Alright, what are we going to talk about today? Should we travel into the semi-serious territory?" He asked her.

"You're right, it is bananas! I guess we better make the best of it and make banana bread." She joked with a little laugh.
"Ya, there was one girl like that too, she seemed quite smitten by one guy but it seemed the rest of them had more than one that they were liking." She said.
"Sure, we don't have long in this whole thing, might as well take advantage of the time we have right?" she asked. "We already talked about kids. What about...expectations for your wife? Do you want her to be a stay at home mom? Do you want her to work? Or is it up to her sort of thing? Thoughts?" She asked curiously.

"Hey I already did that! I must be ahead of the game." He laughed.
"Oh ho really?" He asked curiously. "I'm curious to hear from the dude today how his date went then. Maybe someone will get engaged by date three." He laughed.
"I want her to do whatever it is that makes her happy. If she wants to be a stay home mom, Great! If she wants to work her tail off at work because she loves it or what have you that's great to! I'm by no means a controlling asshole who would control everything like that. I guess my only expectation would be after a long ass day we cuddle on the couch and tell each other how our days went." He said. "What about you any expectations for Hubs? Also, we should probably throw this into the mix as well. How do you feel about religion?"

Cleo laughed when he said he had already made banana bread. "You did?!" She asked laughing. "Definitely ahead of the game then." She said.
"Wouldn't that be crazy?!" She asked as they spoke of the two smitten people. "Though there is always the chance that they weren't raving about each other?" She said in a questioning, pondering tone. "What if they are just really liking someone but the other person didn't have as strong of a connection... that would be kind of sad actually." She said.
"That's good to know. I would want my husband to be able to support myself and our children. I'm happy to help with finances by working as well but I would hope he would take his role as leader of our family seriously. As for religion, I'm a Christian, raised by Christian parents. I don't attend church every Sunday, not even close, but I do try to go more often than on Christmas and Easter. What about you?"

"The plot thickens...Wouldn't that be something?" He chuckled a bit. "Yeah, it would. Heartbreak sure as hell hurts." He confessed. "My hope is they're both crazy about each other." He said.
"Alright alright, good to know." He made notes in his journal. "Well, I moved from house to house at least every three months, if not sooner. So when it comes to religion I'm very open as I've seen and experienced it all. If I'm being honest there was a time when I was a teenager that I was very angry at god, and for a time didn't believe because if there was a god, then how the hell would he have allowed to put me through everything I've been through? Or allow things such as childhood cancer? And now that I'm in a medical field I tend to lead more towards the science of things, but I've also seen miracles happen right before my eyes so...I'm on the fence. But if going to church is something the Mrs. would insist on I'm okay with that too, and will support whatever religious beliefs she has. I would just want my kids to be raised that it's okay to not believe in the same thing as others and to form their own beliefs when they're at that age they can make those decisions if that makes sense? And to still be respectful of other's beliefs."

"Ya, that absolutely makes sense." She said. "Though I definitely think it's a parent's responsibility to teach their children what they believe to be right as well." She added.
"Moving from house to house? Were you a foster child?" She asked, catching on to the bit of information he offered.

"For sure, that's important too." Blake agreed. "Well, the cat's out of the bag." He chuckled. "I was. I was a ward of the state of California since I was two years old, and since my mom willingly put me in the system it made things real sticky in terms of getting adopted. So, she put me in, but didn't want anyone else to be able to legally adopt me. So I bounced around a lot, depending on the situation. It was pretty rough at times. Some of the houses I was in really shouldn't have been foster parents. You know, some people just do it for the money, but in some cases, there are some really good people. So I was all over the place. It was really hard at times, but I survived." He said.
He ran a hand through his hair. "That's a lot of the reason why I want kids, and why I want to be a dad. So I can be the dad I never really had." He mumbled. Becoming a bit self-conscious.

"She didn't want you to be adopted? I didn't know that was something that could be decided once you were in the system. I bet that was really hard for you." She said a bit sadly. "I bet you'll be an amazing dad, Blake." She said softly. "I think a man who wants so much to be a dad is honestly a really great indicator of the kind of dad they'll be. I feel like not a lot of men are so open to their desires to be fathers. I..." She paused, growing a bit shy. "I really love that you want that so much. I can't help but picture my life and imagining my children playing with their dad and him teaching them all sorts of little skills as they grow up. It just..." She sighed a happily little sigh. "melts me."
"I never knew my real mom, but my step mom was incredible and if I'm half as good of a mom that she is then I'll be happy."

"Yeah, because she technically put me in there herself, she still had parental rights, and could have taken me out whenever she felt like it." He explained. "It's a bunch of legal jargon but that's cliff notes." He said.
"Thanks for that Cleo. I really mean that. It's something I tend to be pretty open with when the subject is brought up." He chuckled. He chuckled when she said it melted her. "Don't go turning into a Cleo puddle, I'm not equipped for that." He joked.
"Well she sounds like a pretty awesome lady who raised a pretty awesome daughter," Blake told her. "Tell me about her, what is she like?" He asked.

Cleo chuckled when he talked about a 'Cleo puddle'.
"Oh you mean my sister, Maggie?" She asked playfully when he said said she was a pretty awesome. "Yes, Maggie is definitely awesome." She said with a little laugh.
"Well, her name is Julie. She has a really bubbly personality. She is very forgiving and never holds a grudge, but she'll fight for what she believes in. She loves being a mom and had always been there for every performance, sports game, or anything else. She taught us how to figure out who we are and then be true to ourselves." She laughed softly. "I don't think 'awesome' even begins to describe her." She explained.

"Nah, I mean Cleo." Blake said laughing back.
"She sounds pretty amazing. I'm glad you were able to have such a great person in your life. It seems to me like she made both you and Maggie awesome." He said with a smile.
"What about your dad? What's he like?" He asked curiously.
