First dates have been completed and they went well for some people and not so well for others. You submitted your list to The Producers of the top 4-5 people that you wanted to see again and The Producers organized dates as accordingly as they could. If there was someone you missed out on, there will be chances in the future.
The second round of dates will be twice as long as the first. You will have 4-5 dates total this round. For the second dates you are given full freedom to use your creative/romantic juices! If you want to provide food for your date, or a game, or basically anything you can think of then please free to do so, The Producers will provide what you need! The only rules are that you have to stay in your own pods. No seeing each other, no touching. So have at it and have fun!

Parker knew he previously said he wasn't very romantic, and he wasn't lying. But for this... first of all he was drunk when he did all this planning and he thought it would be funny to do something a little unexpected.
There was a bouquet of a dozen roses in the pod for Gem, plus some chocolate covered strawberries, garnished with four leaf clovers.
"For the record, I don't actually know if you're supposed to eat clovers, but I thought that would be fun and bring you some good luck," he said with a chuckle, "not that you need it with me."

Gem had arranged for a box to be placed in Parker's pod. "Parker!" She called his name in delighted shock. "This is the sweetest fucking, sorry, freaking thing anyone has ever done for me! Have you found my gift?" The box was under the couch. In it he'd find a hat. |

Parker chuckled, "Don't worry about cussing in front of me unless my mama is in the room," he said, "Aww shucks Gem, I was just pulling the most classic move out of the rom com playbook with a special little Parker twist. I'm really glad you like it though."
"What box?" Parker asked, as he started scouring the room for a box. "You're going to have to give me a hint, and maybe a hint of what's inside. Is it going to scare me? I'm preparing for it to scare me!" He said as he looked at the table and under the blankets.

"Under something..." Parker muttered as he shuffled around.
Then he found a box under the sofa. "Found it!"
"Ok I'm opening this box now," Parker said, followed by a full hearted laugh, "Wow Gem! This is great, probably the greatest fucking hat someone's ever given me. I'm putting it on right now and I will wear this out the pod after this date just to see what the other guys say."
"Do you have a matching one that says made of wife material or something?"

Gem laughed after he found the gift. "It's to help keep you from going bald. Because hats do that..." she sounded doubtful. "No, I didn't have one for myself. I'm not sure I could confidently wear it. But I'll have to see it on you...eventually." Pause. "So, second date. What should we do differently?"

"Don't worry, I promise to never lose my hair, I like it quite a lot," Parker said. "I think it's funny that I think I'm good at first dates, but I have no idea what to do on a second date. They make me more nervous than a first date does because I think then the other person has actual expectations or something."
Parker paused a moment to think "Well right before we had to go, you mentioned your brothers. Sounds like you're close to them. I really want to get to know you and about your life."

“Well...my brothers are Leo and Aries. Yes, I know. Don’t be afraid to laugh. I wish it had been done with a sense of humor, but if you knew my dad then you’d know better. They’re younger than me. I basically raised them when they were young, and now that we’re all grown up they take care of me.” She paused. “They’re both married and doing really well. They happy. It’s everything I ever wanted for them...and now they are trying to find that for me.”

Parker couldn't help but chuckle at the names of Gem's brothers, "Ok I have to say that is some next level dad joke going on there, but also it sounds like a superhero squad so I'm going to assume you're all also superheros in disguise."
"I'm also in no place to judge about names." Parker said with a laugh. "My parents chose their own American names when they immigrated so that's how my dad ended up with the name Dr. Johnny Domino. He wanted something that sounded... very American as he says. And then he went and named me after Peter Parker because Spiderman was apparently the first American movie he saw. They named my little sister Ace, though that's kinda the perfect name for her."
"I think your brothers did a great job of getting you here, you're pretty awesome."

Parker laughed, "Take your best guesses! Not Italy but yeah I've definitely been to where my parents are from a few times. I still have family there so I make sure to swing by when I'm in the area.
"I do admit, I've had no trouble finding a people who fall for my dashing good looks outside of the pods, but they're just not the right people for me," Parker said with a laugh. Then he softened up a bit, getting a little more serious, "I've had a couple serious relationships before. I was actually engaged once, that ended about two years ago. To be completely honest, I've only been single for about four months." He paused, trying to decide which words to say, "What I like most about the pods is that I know that someone will like me for me, not for who they think Parker Domino is. That last girl I dated? I helped her become an Instagram influencer, because she didn't like that I was going to leave to spend a month or two in France, so I just brought her with me. Then when it was back to roughing it in the jungle in Malaysia, I guess it just wasn't her aesthetic anymore."
"I really do think there's something to this whole I can't see you game, because then it's just me and a pod and that's all you really get to experience. It's really easy to romance someone by taking them to Paris, but now all I have is me."

"I'm sorry about that, Parker. That must have been so very disappointing. The pods actually scare me more than they give me confidence. Yes, someone might like me for me...or someone might not. What if, without my looks, no one will love me or choose me?" She was quiet for a pause. "Sorry. Debbie Downer. I wasn't engaged, but I had a long relationship with a man who preached my worthlessness to me every day."
Then, as an afterthought:

"Ooo I've never been to Michigan! Tell me what it's like!" Parker said, as excited as ever about learning about a new place. "And no, not Australia but you're in the the right part of the world."
"I'll give you a hint... if I can think of one... it's very likely you've had a famous drink from this place and if you haven't eaten food from there you've absolutely eaten food from one of it's neighbors," Parker said.
