Valeria opened her envelope. She immediately circled yes on one of hers. She eyed all the other women in the room before deciding she'd stand up and break the silence.
"Shaan's right, this is like a really weird sorority, not that I've actually been in one but I watch movies."
"Let's make some ground rules, girl code stuff." she started, "If we like the same guy, which is obviously going to happen and you don't want to talk about it with someone else who likes him, just use a safeword and that's the end between you. No questions, no pushing, no hard feelings. Deal?"
"Ummm how about no asking someone to give up a guy either. No letting guys come between us, but no holding back on following our hearts either? Because if you like the guys I like, I'm going after him and I'm not slowing down for anyone."
"
Let's all catch a husband and see each other at the pool after this ok? "
"Ummm what should our safeword be?"
She sat down. "Oh and um I'm seeing Blake tomorrow for sure." she said, flushing red.

Lainey had come in late, hugging her stuffed Dug, and wrapped in her pineapple blanket Dean gave her. She had all the flowers she'd gotten delivered to her room already and came and sat down next to River Hughes and Cleo Saintclair , while she listened to what was going on. "Honestly, I don't think there's anyone in the world but us here, who will know what this whole thing is like. New Friends and Husbands are definitely going to be a thing. Also, I'm sick and tired of hanging out with my brother all the time." She pouted. She nudged River and Cleo and both gently. "I want other friends too." She said grinning at them. When the letters came, she reached out and searched for her. She opened it quickly, and then grinned at seeing who it was, and quickly wrote yes. "I like those ground rules. Simple and straight to the point. Great Idea ladies." Lainey said. "Also, our safe word is pumpernickel. Because who doesn't want to just randomly say pumpernickel of all things in the heat of the moment." She laughed. "Aaaaaand I'm seeing Dean," Lainey added after Valeria Winter. |

Cleo grinned at Lainey Yurkovich when the girl nudged her and @smiled at River as well. She liked all of these girls and would love if they all became friends after this. "Pumpernickel." Cleo giggled. "Perfect. I like the grounds rules too."She searched through her own letters, chewing on her bottom lip, but still not circling any of them. "Oh this is so hard! I'm jealous of you girls who are so sure already. Please say there are others who are still torn?" She said with a little laugh. |

River shyly raised her hand in response to Cleo Saintclair. "I'm just saying yes to all three. The ones I asked for were Penn and Parker, but I feel like I can't say no to Percy. He's such a sweetie." Once she had answered, she nudged Lainey back and leaned on her a little. "And I definitely like the idea of making friends. I can't talk to just my cat forever!"She looked to the other as well. "I can help with snacks if you like banana bread or chocolate chip cookies. Otherwise I might need a box mix for anything else," she confessed. "I'm good at dinners, not so much baking." |

Shaan laughed at the sudden rush of sisterhood that infected the group."Yeah some of us are bound to like the same guy eventually. Hell it's totally already happened." She took a long drink of her bottle and nodded when the other girls spoke. "Good safeword. Well I for one love the ground rules and would also like some friends."
"So uh.. I'm seeing Trout first.. Then Penn and...Parker.." The last name had a bit of a questioning tone.

Gemini listened, nodding in agreement to the safe word. Once names started getting thrown around her cheeks blossomed with color and she quietly said, "With girls like you here, there isn't really hope for me." She smiled sadly. "No guilt, though. Go with your hearts. I'm sure you'll all get the guy you want." Her eyes lingered on Shaan Vladislav when she said it. |

Valeria groaned, "I did put Parker on my list... so I have an invitation from him too and I don't know if I'm going to go or not yet..." she said, looking at the invitation in question. "I think I just... want to talk to him again... clear the air and stuff..."
"It's like I just can't stop thinking about Blake... but every time I talk to Parker it's like there's just the two of us in the world. I think we talk about nothing but everything at the same time... But then when I'm with Blake it's just so... he's everything I ever dreamed of!" she gushed.
"So umm... did anyone say a certain three little words yet?" she asked, flushing red again.

Shaan noticed the look from Gemini Matteson and moved over the chair closer to her. "Whats on your mind? This is a really weird time for all of us and you've been quiet. If you want we can go to the other room if you arent cozy?" She chuckled a bit, offering a warm smile. "I was super into Parker day one honestly but not getting that second date kinda had me bond with other people more. I feel like I don't wanna turn him down but I also am not really head over heels."She heard the other question and felt her face heat up a bit. "I almost did. I think I feel it but I want to wait till tomorrow to say it I think.. Did anyone actually do it?.. Val youre really red. Val. Val did you?" |

Valeria was mid-sip when Shaan responded to her and nearly choked on her beer. "Oh ummm maybe" she coughed.
There was a pause before Valeria managed to to get even redder and there was a stupidly dopey grin on her face, "Ok yeahhhhh and... that's why I feel so guilty that I have other thoughts" she exclaimed before grabbing a nearby pillow and burying her face into it. "He's just so fucking charming," she didn't even bother to say which one she was referring to.
