After Date 2

Gemini entered and her gaze fell onto the paper with the rumors. She stared for a long minute.

Valeria was a little tipsy coming in from her last date, they had been playing battleshots. She looked over at the paper and laughed, "Suspicious circumstances? Really? People came here to get married, not talk about their deep dark serial killer histories," she said. There was only one name on that list that she particularly cared about anyways. "I hope they said something crazy about me too" 

Cleo had come in with a smile that she couldn't wipe from her lips.

She looked down at the paper and then blushed a bit at the comment Shaan Vladislav made about handcuffs and she giggled softly. "Do you think any of these are true? Or are they just messing with us?" She asked curiously, a brief look of worry crossing her expression though at least none of the names on the list concerned her personally.

She couldn't help but smile at Shaan's question though. "I definitely have far more hope and confidence than I did yesterday at least. I wasn't sure this would work for me but...maybe it will." She said with a coy smile before burying her smiling face in her hands.

"Im pretty positive its a load of shit. She nodded as she sat down in one pf the chairs. She grinned and looked at Val. "Lets just say.. Trout and I came to an agreement about lawn care..and other things. She laughed and shook her head. "I'll be the blunt one. I really like Penn and Trout. They're both amazing and damn me fell for both of em."

Valeria ended up grabbing a beer, might as well stay feeling fuzzy. "Lawn care huh? That's got to be code for something," she said in jest. "I guess I should be blunt too, I'm not really used to the whole girl talk and giggling over crushes thing. I've literally never done it before." she said with a light laugh.

Valeria looked conflicted, "I think someone's going to get hurt no matter what I choose. When I think about it logically the answer is super obvious... Blake is more than I could've dreamed of in what I want in a husband and a future... but Parker is something completely different... he's just fun and I can be my weird goofy self with him and he'd never judge me for it."

"I can really see a future with Blake though, he wants a ton of kids and the cheesecake he made was just incredible. I didn't think it was possible for anyone to have a vision of the future that was so much like mine..." she gushed at the end. "Ummm before I came here I made a ring in case I wanted to propose to someone... it won't fit them but... it's crazy to think that I might actually use it.

Cleo listened with curiosity and a smile. “Well from what I could tell it seemed the dates were pretty evenly numbered. Not everyone got who they necessarily wanted because they wanted to keep the number of dates pretty similar. If you still want dates with people that doesn’t mean it’s too late to do so.” She said encouragingly you Shaan Vladislav.

She blushed a little at Shaan’s question but also looked torn. “I went on dates with Alex, Parker, and Percy today. Liam was a no show. Honestly...” she made an exasperated noise and buried her face in her hands again for a moment before running her fingers through her hair. “I like all three of them. I think each date went really well. I could imagine life with any of them but they are also all pretty different too. Alex made it clear to me that he’s only interested in me right now and that felt amazing, really amazing but it’s also scary you know?” She said, biting her lip. “I like him a lot, I really really do! But I don’t know if I’m ready to count out Parker or Percy just yet. But I don’t want to hurt Alex. Maybe it won’t matter, maybe they won’t choose me and I won’t have to worry about it. But what if Alex...” she trailed off and her eyes seemed to focus on the girls again.

“Sorry, I’m rambling.” She said with a nervous chuckle and blushed again. “This is just really hard.”

"We have to face that someone's going to get hurt no matter how this goes down, but what really matters is all the happiness we all find, and how we grow as people through this whole experience," Valeria said, then she stopped and laughed at herself, "Hey that would be a good toast.

"I've never had a lot of girl friends before, but this is something that we're all going to share that no one else can relate to. Plus, all of you have been on a date with my future husband." she was teasing at the end. 

Shaan laughed a little and shook her head. "Well sharpen up your teeth sugar bear, I can see a fierce person in that sweet little shell." She was full on grinning at the girls.

"I feel you there Val. I've never had friends really, much less female friends.. this is kinda nice? After all this we should totally get together for a ...party? gathering? I can mix up some drinks if someone can mix up snacks."

"I know how you feel..Honestly I don't know how to pick between the two guys but I feel like one of em is a lot more serious than the other? Maybe like a coin toss?" She laughed at her little joke.

"Val I can say I got you for this! I actually do bartend and my boss likes us to wear makeup, so I can totally help you since I have to do my own like every day. I packed like four bags of makeup just because I can never make up my mind.. That actually goes for any of you girls! If you aint good at makeup Shaans got you." She laughed a little bit

"I am not good at hair and all our fashion senses are different.. buut we could all girl power together and give these guys a heart attack when they get to see us!" She laughed as she sipped her vodka.
