As the third dates were started you were told that this date would be much different than the ones you've experienced so far and they would take place in a location other than the pods. No real hints were given other than considering sensible shoes and maybe not going in your pjs.

Instead of being taken to the pods you are lead to a completely new part of the studio and a door you've never seen before. The door is opened for you and you step inside to a completely blacked out room save for one blue light that allows you to see the dimensions of the room. You step inside an approximate 6ft by 6ft space and you see a path ahead of you. As the door closes behind you, the light goes out, completely blinding you.
A recorded voice in an almost robotic tone plays overhead.
"Welcome to the blind maze. You may not be able to see but you can feel your way through. To get a visual, the maze is a square. You and your date are on the upper two corners of the square and the exit is at the bottom in the center. You must first find each other and then find the exit. You will be able to hear each other. Best of luck."
A small ding was heard that signified the beginning of the maze.
As you head down the path that you saw before the room went dark you eventually feel your way to your first turn. Do you go LEFT or RIGHT?
GUIDELINES:
- The maze is dark enough that you can't even see your hand in front of your face. You'll have to use feel to guide you through the maze.
- I will keep on top of these dates to guide you and tell you if you chose correctly. (Post order: Person A, Person B, Me. Person A and Person B can switch if you would like to. So if GIRL is A and BOY is B. Then it could go A, B, Me, B, A, Me if you want to)
- To make it easier for me so I don't have to read every single post please put the choice you make AT THE TOP of your post IN CAPS so I can see it easily!
- You may talk and chat while you try to move through the maze.
- Once you find each other you MAY touch, hug, etc one another! Yay! Due to this, you will also be able to describe certain physical descriptions of yourself. Remember that you can't SEE each other, only feel. Things you can describe if hands find their way there are for example: height (it'll just be easiest to say your specific height so you know who is taller haha), facial hair, length of hair, bony body or beer gut? (lol), texture of skin (soft, hairy, oily, acne prone), smell (sweaty? perfume?). You should not describe things like the color of your skin, eyes, hair, or anything else that can only be seen.
- Also each maze is predetermined and different from every other maze so no one can cheat and know the answers from previous dates ^.^
- There is no word count or post number restriction for this thread as it will be determined by how many wrong turns you make.
OTHER NOTES:
- I know there are people getting close to proposals. Please do NOT propose during this date. You may do so at any time after this date.
- When proposals DO happen please let me know so I can set up your reveal thread!
- HOWEVER, there is currently no rush! This is only day 3 remember and there are approximately 10 days (ic) before you'll run out of time. (I do not have a specific end date for stage 1 in mind yet, I'm playing it by ear based on how everyone is doing, but there will be a limit at some point)
- After this date it will be up to YOU to start further dates. Further details will be provided in a PM as we get close to the end of this date.

"Hi Percy!" Cleo called out through the darkness, this was the third time she had done this now and knew what to expect. "You're not afraid of the dark are you?" She asked playfully as she went left at the first turn. "I am a little, admittedly." She said with a soft laugh.

"Cleo!" Percy called happily when the lights disappeared. "Dark isn't too bad, though it creeps me out just a little bit. I'm only a little suspicious of production playing a trick on us, but it's not like we're on Naked and Afraid." Percy said with a light laugh. "Now they wanted to make me scream, they'd show me heights, I can't do heights. I fly home to Nashville all the time but I always have to have an aisle seat and really not think about the heights." he confessed as he moved right. |

Cleo chuckled softly. “Aww. Well, ya, at least there are no heights right now.” She assured him as she started to feel her way through the maze. “I’m not very good at these things even when it’s not pitch black.” She said with a little laugh.

"Not to sound totally batty," an attempt at a joke from Percy, "But honestly I think I'd almost do better at things like this in the dark. I trust my ears more than my eyes, but I'm not letting go of this wall until I get to hold your hand." he paused, "that is if you let me hold your hand," he said shyly.
"I was going to play you a song on this date, but production kinda changed my plans," Percy said with a laugh as he turned right.

"Batty. I get it." She said with a laugh as she kept a hand on the wall to her way. "Of course I'll let you." She said with a girlish laugh.
"Oh you were! Darn it! I really wanted to hear it!" She said. "I mean, this is fun to, but I'm still a bit disappointed I didn't get to hear you play." She said, a clear smile still in her voice.

Percy turned around when he found the dead end. "Hey anytime you want a private Cleo concert, I have your back, I'd love to play for you," Percy told her. "But hey, I don't get to hold my violin so that frees me up to hold your hand," he said shyly. "So what should we talk about today? Tell me a story" he said, as he turned left. |

She laughed sweetly as he mentioned his free hand now that he didn't have his violin. "Lucky for me!" She said.
"Tell you a story huh? I don't know that I'm good at telling stories. Let's see." She hummed as she thought.
"Once upon a time," She started with a tease and a chuckle. "A girl named Cleo was in high school. She was quite plain, in her opinion, and quite regularly caught the attention of certain boys. Somehow they always seemed to be the choirs boys or the drama kids who she was friends with, though she was neither in choir or drama. One day she was writing notes back and forth with one of her guy friends in class. Don't worry, they didn't get caught. But he was telling her about this girl that he liked but he didn't know if she liked him back and she was very supportive and encouraging and eagerly asked him who this mystery girl was. The next thing he wrote was 'It's you' and poor Cleo didn't know what to do, because she had no such feelings for the boys and it was very awkward. The end."

Percy clapped when he heard Cleo's story. "Awww Cleo, that sounds like that should be a song. So what happened after that? I can see you hanging out with the choir and drama kids, you've got your heart in the right place for it." he said. "Though the Cleo I know I don't think I'd consider plain. She's really caring and thoughtful with a laugh that sounds like sunshine and has a lot of artistic talent." "If you think you're awkward... well you haven't really met me yet..." Cleo laughed. "I honestly don't remember the specifics of how it ended, but I did keep a lot of my notes from friends from high school and that was one of them. I'd have to find it to figure out what I said. I definitely didn't ever have feelings for him but he was pretty flirty with me for a while." She explained.
"Have you had any other dates before this one today?" She asked casually as she corrected her course and went left instead.

LEFT" Oh umm kinda? Someone... made a mistake..." Percy said with a shy laugh. "It's ok though, I'm really happy for her and that she found someone that works really well for her!" he added quickly.
"And ummm I'm talking to someone else that I didn't get a chance to talk to with much earlier after this" Percy said, "I have to say that I'm a sucker for a good love story, and fairytales in general I guess. My mom used to read them to us before bed when I was a kid. Do you have a favorite fairytale?" |

"Oh I made it!" Cleo said and clapped her hands. "That's cool that you get to talk to someone you didn't get a chance to earlier." She said happily. "Oh fairytales! I love fairytales! I always wanted to go to a masquerade, those seem popular is stories." She said with a little laugh. "The little mermaid has always been a favorite of mine. What about you?" she asked.
"I guess I should tell you that I actually connected really strongly with Alex this morning. I wanted to be able to tell you in person rather than just cancelling our date. But I've really REALLY enjoyed spending time with you, you're an awesome guy and seriously whoever is lucky enough to capture your heart will be very lucky indeed." She explained a bit nervously.
