Penn let out a huff of a short laugh when she said he wasn't the same person he was yesterday and then he groaned, a frustrated sound, again. "I'm having a hard time with the 'deciding what's best for me' thing. I don't like to think about me, I feel selfish just worrying about me when my decision affects other people."

"Well lets put aside whats best for you. What do you want. Sometimes especially when you have to worry about yourself you do hurt people and thats sadly the reality of it.. Everyone here is an adult.. It may sting but people are stronger than you think.." She frowned and moved forward, hugging him gently for just a moment. "Forgetting who you may hurt and forgetting how it may affect anyone else you gotta decide eventually and trust me.. Pulling the bandaid off is easier sooner rather than later." She nodded lightly. "Just the fact that you're actually worried about hurting someone makes it a bit more ok.."

Penn graciously accepted the hug and sighed as he held her softly. He nodded several times, his head bobbing a bit as he did so, thinking in silence. After several moments he finally spoke again. "You're very wise, Shaan." He told her. "I'm sorry to ruin our date." He said guiltily. "I definitely didn't come into this today thinking I'd just talk your ear off about all my worries."

She smiled and gently rubbed his back, nodding. "Nah I'm just way too sensitive and into my own emotions." She laughed a little bit and lightly poked his cheek. "You didn't ruin it... Sometimes you just need to cut the romance from things and have an honest talk.. I want the person I marry to be my friend and my spouse and I feel like everyone should be able to talk to their partner like this. You're always welcome to unload on me. Hell if we dont work out and you just need to call someone to vent you'll be welcome to do so." She laughed a bit and sighed.
"Wanna get out of this maze so you can have some time?"

Penn made a small sound of agreement. "That's true, I definitely want my spouse to see all the sides of me. It's not true love if you can't accept all the parts of the package, right?" He said, still a bit sadly.

A small pinprick of green light lit up and showed them which path they needed to go down. Once they followed it they would reach their first turn. LEFT, RIGHT, or MIDDLE?
Each round going forward will consist of 2 turns. So BOTH of you should pick a direction from the 3 available options. I have a predetermined order of correct turns you need to make in the correct order to get to the end. Good luck!

"They're a bit more alt rock type of stuff. I have a thing for boys with tattoos who kinda look half dead." She laughed a little bit at her own joke. "I actually love a good curry." There was a small chuckle.
"So theres this thing called Tang yuan,, a place near me fries it actually so its all crispy, it has a sesame seed sugar paste in it with a crunchy outside..suuuper sweet but good.. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be?"

After the last turn they would find themselves in a bit of a large space again, though not quite as large as the center of the maze.
The automated voice rang out again. "Congratulations! You have reached the end of the maze! Please follow the green lights and exit on opposite sides of the room." There were tiny green lighted arrows on the floor, some led left and the others led right and would lead to doors.
One you go through the door a soft light will turn on (so as not to blind you) before you'd exit the maze entirely and head back to the suites.
You made it! Say your goodbyes and exit separately. Thanks for playing!
You are free to set up any further dates in the 'additional dates' board!

"That sir, Is a secret...Hmm.. I'd bring an mp3 player, some vodka and probably as many chicken tenders as I can find." She chuckled a little bit.
"I dunno it may be good for some soul searching. Hell knows I need it after all this... Especially this next part because this is literally the worst.." She took a deep shaky breath and squeezed his hand softly.
"..So.. I kinda...Yeah..this is it.. I..uh..I dont wanna see you again..." She nodded once and made her way to her door practically sprinting out of the pods.

Penn was honestly speechless, he felt so guilty about how the date had gone and for feeling so conflicted. He simply stood there alone in the dark for several long moments after she made the decision for him and told him she didn't to see him again. He couldn't blame her, he had messed up, but it didn't mean that it didn't hurt, because there had certainly been strong feelings for her.
Finally he moved to walk out of the maze, knowing he still had two more dates today.
