He had done it! He had proposed! Hot damn...he had proposed. Whew! Things were getting serious now! Dean had realized that he wasn't the only one who was getting close when Production sent in a selection of rings with a jeweler to talk about them. When they arrived at the suite Dean was the first out there to look at them and he realized he had no idea what Lainey might like. He stood there scratching the back of his neck and looking through the options. (OOC: I got permission from The Producers to make this happen. This thread is open to all the guys!) Alex had heard about the ring selection, he had brought a ring from home that he was going to use, but it may have been fun to look and there was always the chance to hang out with some of the other guys. He opened the door to find Dean and he broke out into a grin knowing what that meant. "So did you do it?" He laughed as he walked over, looking over some of the rings and whistling at the quality of them. "So what are you thinking for her?" He chuckled as he clapped a hand on Dean Baelish 's Shoulder. |

Dean looked up as Alex entered and gave a little chuckle as he broke out into a wide grin. "I did. Man, I just couldn't wait a second longer." He admitted with a little laugh. "I can't believe this whole thing actually worked." He said in awe.
He ran his hand through his hair as he looked down at the rings again. "I...honestly have no idea." He said with a guilty laugh. "I didn't even think to ask her what she liked in rings."

Alex nodded softly. "Congrats man.. Im asking Cleo after this but I have my grandmas ring which fit her specifications." He chuckled as he let his eyes run over the rings. He clapped his hands and rubbed them together. "Well.. I am here to help!"
"She a classic girl or does she seem more into the modern stuff?" He asked as he looked at a few of the rings."Maybe be easy to decide.. gold silver or rose gold for a band? Cleo wanted a gold band.. my mom prefers silver.. so theres a variety out there."

Blake heard about the ring set up, and went into the room out of pure curiosity, but also....well he was thinking his time might be near when he'd do probably one of the hardest things in his life. He poked his head in, seeing Dean Baelish and Alex Knight already looking. He snuck in, closing the door quietly behind him as he came up on the other side of Dean, and caught part of the conversation. He placed one hand on Dean's shoulder and held out his other hand. "Congrats man!" He said grinning widely. "Now the rest of us just need to get out asses in gear." He chuckled. He let go of Dean and then put his hands in the back pockets of his jeans. "When I talked to Lainey she striked me as the tomboy type. Especially with how much she runs around. I'd say classic but maybe a simpler modernized one. Maybe...You know her better than the rest of us." Blake chuckled. |

"Already prepped with a ring, and a family heirloom and anything! Well, aren't you prepared?" He said to Alex Knight with a grin. Dean jumped when Blake touched his shoulder, having not heard him come in, but he laughed as he turned to him. "Thanks man! What about you? You seemed pretty sure last night." He asked. Looking at the rings again he was still unsure and tried to think back on his conversations with Lainey to try to guess what she might like. "Maybe I should just get a simple band for now and after I propose we can go together to pick out her ring..." He said, unsure.

"Of course, My mom's very very into the idea of me getting married. You dont wanna hear her start on having grandkids." He laughed and raised his eyebrows a bit.
"Tomboy..Hmm.. What about getting her something more like a promise ring until you can go together? Something like a gemstone with her birthstone in it on a band?" He said thoughtfully as he looked at Blake.
"What about you sappy boy? You seemed like you were ready to shoot the gun last night. You here to pick something out too?" He laughed a bit.

"The promise ring is a smart move. Might win you extra brownie points too with wanting to pick one out with her so she gets what she wants." Blake suggested. A dopey grin appeared on his face as Dean Baelish and Alex Knight asked about him. "I'd pop the question if she let me, but I want to make sure she's ready, and find that perfect moment." He said. He ran a hand through his hair, glancing down at the rings again. "I thought I'd come in to at least see what they had." He said. Be let a breath of air out. Puffing his cheeks out as he did so. "This is freaking nuts. We're ring shopping." He said with a shake of his head. He held his hand out so they could see it shaking. "I'm freaking shaking, is this really real?" He laughed. |

Dean nodded thoughtfully. "That's a good idea, a promise ring would at least be more special than just a band." He agreed. He grinned at Blake Carson when he showed them his shaking hand. "It's bonkers, isn't it?" He asked with a little laugh. "Hey, if you know you want to then you might as well do the shopping now and be prepared for when the moment comes up, right? So what are you looking for in a ring?" He asked Blake. |

Blake lowered his hand, and shoved it back into his pocket and puffed his cheeks out before letting a breath of air out. "I uh...Don't really know? Like, I'm more of the practical sort. Knowing Val is working in the brewery and her woodworking I wouldn't want her ring to get caught on something and then me have to stitch her finger back on." He said with a nervous chuckle. He ran his hand through his hair out of nervous habit. "Can I uh...say something to you two." He said glancing over at the door to make sure it was closed and then leaned in. A bit, looking between Dean Baelish and Alex Knight. "I'm a bit worried about Parker." He said softly. He rubbed his neck. "I love Val, I really do, and I know she loves me but I also know she has a lot of feelings towards Parker, and he seemed...I dunno." He mumbled. "I-I'm not worried about Val, and I want her happy but shiiiiiit." He laughed suddenly. "I'm not the jealous type but she makes me want to go caveman..." He sighed. |

Alex nodded a bit at his idea. "What about a band with diamonds or whatever gem inlayed? That way it wont get caught and it will still be flashy, but practical. No need to worry about a finger stitching.. Could even go with maybe a rose or white gold to to make it stand out." He said thoughtfully.
"Dude.. Val seems like a great girl, Hell I adored her but more as a friend. Did you guys drop the big love?" He raised an eyebrow as he leaned in a little bit. "Parker is a popular dude.. Honestly I get it, but if you and Val are meant to be its meant to be.. You can't sweat the tiny stuff and if you're worried...well talk to her.. I am totally the jealous type but I'm much more a sugar in their gas tank petty.. I love Cleo, totally do.. If she kissed anyone else im fucking with their car." He laughed and pat Blake on the shoulder lightly.

"Honestly I don't know how anyone could not be jealous in this situation." He replied. "We're all here dating each other's girls and talking about serious things. Don't be too hard on yourself for feeling that way. I'd be the same in your position." He explained.
"All you can really do is be honest, tell her how you're feeling and hope for the best. I wish the best of luck though, man." He said encouragingly.
