Here we are, the big reveal. These two have fallen in love inside the pods, have proposed, and become engaged all without ever having seen one another!! Is love truly blind? So far so good, but will they make it to their wedding day?
Yesterday they became engaged and today they finally get to see one another for the first time.
The Scene
They each are waiting behind closed doors, dramatic music plays, nerves and excitement at an ultimate high when finally the doors slide open automatically at the same time.
Between them is a long room with a strip of red carpet that leads to the other door, the walls are lined with greenery, roses, and candles and to reach each other in the middle will take several long strides.
Guidelines
- For your first post you will write a description of your character waiting behind the door, their thoughts/feelings etc. At the end of your writing you'll write about the doors opening.
- Below your writing please put a photo of your character at the bottom of the post and centered.
- AFTER your faces have been revealed you are free to change your account pictures whenever you're ready.
- At the end of the thread feel free to have them leave the room together.

Cleo wrung her hands together as she stood behind the door, trying to keep her hands from shaking. She chewed on her bottom lip nervously but then smiled through it. She took a calm, steadying breath. She couldn't believe that she was about to meet Alex, her fiance! Holy crap! Her FIANCE!! How did that even happen?! She was engaged!! And she had never even seen the man. She chuckled to herself at the thought and took another shaky breath. She wore her long hair down and wavy and had chosen something nice but not overly formal to wear, a sweet little summer dress. Her makeup was simple and natural looking. Regardless of her nerves she was ready. She was in love with Alex, she knew that for certain even if everything else was hazy. She was in love and she wanted to be with this man forever. She held her breath as the door opened. |

Alex stood on the other side of the door ready as he ever would be. His hands had been shaking all night after the proposal and into the morning but he had finally calmed his nerves. He had put on his favorite leather vest and sleeveless shirt. He had the ring box in one hand, a black wooden box with a blue velvet interior. In his other hand he held a bouquet of Gladiolus flowers like on their second date. His brain had been racing the entire day of what she would look like. What it would be like for this to finally be real. His heart was pounding in his chest and he was bouncing on either leg with energy buzzing through him. "Damn doors." He muttered waiting for them to finally open. He was nervous, excited, anxious and terrified. All the emotions swlled in him as the click of the doors rang out and they opened ( His Voice because I can finally share it) |

The doors opened and Cleo caught her first glimpse of Alex. All she could do was smile speechlessly as she started to walk forward. Her hands moved to cover her mouth, her smile still reflecting in her eyes as she teared up happily. "Oh my gosh..." She said breathlessly. She felt shy but excited and hoped she didn't disappoint him but she was absolutely not disappointed by him. He was...hot!
She felt like there was no way that a guy that looked that gorgeous would have ever even looked her way in real life and it made her feel self-conscious, but her love for Alex continued to draw her forward regardless.
"Hi." She finally managed to squeak.

A broad grin broke out over his face as he walked forward, opening his arms as he chuckled a little bit at her reaction. He let out a whistle upon seeing her. She was gorgeous and just his type. "Well hello there beautiful." He chuckled a little bit as he kept moving forward. He approached her and before anything he slowly dropped to one knee offering her the flowers. "Hope you can handle all this miss Rule Follower." A teasing tone and laugh came from his voice. He waited until she took the flowers before slowly opening the ring box. A gold ring sat nestled inside. "Will you still Marry me Cleo?" He chuckled as he looked her up and down. "I was right by the way..you are so beautiful." |

His voice instantly made her more courageous and assured her that everything was okay. Her heart raced and her hands were still shaking as she reached him. She giggled at him teasing her and her breath caught in her chest when he got down on one knee. She took the flowers, of course recognizing them from their second date. She brought them to her nose to breathe them in for a moment, but never took her eyes off of him. How could she? Those blue eyes was enchanting. How did she get so lucky?
She teared up again as he opened up the ring box and spoke those beautiful words again. Then chuckled softly when he complimented her. "Oh Alex, it's perfect." She said, the smile physically unable to leave her lips. "Yes yes yes, a thousand times yes!" She said, reaching out her shaking hand so he could put the ring on her finger.

He took her hand softly and slid the ring onto her finger handing her the ring box. He laughed a bit as he held her hand staring at the ring on her finger. "How did I get so lucky to have the most beautiful girl in the world agreeing to marry me.. You are such an amazing woman.. I wanted to make sure the ring was perfect for you.. Shoulda seen the guys picking rings out.. I dropped in to see what everyone else was going with." He laughed a bit as he slowly stood, holding her hand.
He placed a hand on her cheek as he looked down at her. "So.. Am I allowed a real first kiss where I can see my Fiancee." He leaned down and kissed the corner of her mouth softly like it was his own way of asking permission.

She admired the ring while he placed it on her finger but as soon as it was on her gaze was immediately fixed upon his face again. A soft pink blush rose into her cheeks just looking him, clearly still in awe of the man in front of her. "It's stunning, it really is." She told him about the ring. She'd get a better look at it later, right now she was too distracted.
She tilted her head softly into his touch, the smile still lingering on her lips. Her breath came quicker as he leaned towards her. They had kissed before yes, in the dark, but this somehow still felt like the first time, and as he kissed the corner of her mouth she felt her knees weaken.
"Yes." She managed to breath out, so quietly that it would probably only barely be heard.

He smiled softly looking at her just thinking about how lovely she was and how in the world this had even happened. "Not half as stunning as you sweetie. You're fucking radiant." He gently slid his fingers over her cheek seeing the blush, she couldnt have been any more beautiful to him in that moment.
He slid his arm around her waist gently as he kissed her lips softly, pulling her close to him and moving his free hand to softly hold the back of her head, letting his fingers get lost in her hair. He held her tightly and held the kiss for a few moments before breaking it gently and muttering a few words into her lips. "..so are you mad I didn't tell you about the nose ring..Kinda wanted to surprise you with it." He chuckled a bit looking into her eyes.

One of her hands rested on his upper arm as he kissed her and the other on his chest. Her eyes finally fluttered closed as their lips made contact and it felt just as magical as it had yesterday in the dark. His touch felt so reassuring and electric all at once.
The hand on his arm slid up tenderly to his neck, her thumb stroking his skin softly. This must be what heaven feels like, she decided. She smiled at his question, her gaze moving to his nose ring and she shook her head. "Not at all mad. It's actually...pretty hot." She said with a giddy chuckle, looking back up to meet his eyes. Those striking blue eyes.
"I mean, are you sure I'm not too...plain? I mean, look at you." She said with a bit of excited and nervous laughter. "I could just stare at you for hours. You are..." She exhaled deeply. "stunningly handsome."

A shiver ran down his spine feeling her touch as he let a devilish smirk play on his lips. "..You know..Theres a lot about me that can be pretty hot... and you're pretty hot.." He said with a slightly teasing tone in his voice. If she let him he would scoop her off her feet, a hand on her back and a hand under her legs. He grinned at her letting his eyes look her up and down.
"Plain? Have you seen yourself? You're my Diamond doll face. You're fucking beautiful and I could get lost staring into you. Literally you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." He chuckled and placed another kiss on her lips, a deeper one that lasted just a bit longer than the others. "Looks fade love. One day I'll be old remember?"

Cleo grinned and laughed as he scooped her up, her ankles delicately crossing as he did so. Her hand curled up around to the back of his neck and into his hair as he kissed her again and she returned it with continually growing confidence. When he did break the kiss her breath was a bit shaky.
She stared up into his striking eyes with a joyous smile on her lips. Then as if she couldn't hold it in anymore she squealed softly, scrunching her nose as she did and then wrapped her arms around his neck and squeezed him tightly in a hug. "I can't believe this!!!" She said. "I'm just so so so so happy!"

A grin spread across his face, his heart was pounding in his chest and he nuzzled her cheek softly with his own. "I am too, this is the happiest day of my life so far..and I can see so so many more happy days. I love you Cleo." He spoke softly as he held her, refusing to let her go. He held her closer and tighter closing his eyes for a moment and sighing happily.
"So.. I have you all to myself now.. What is the first thing you want to do my love?" He asked as he cocked his head, raising an eyebrow in question. "I figure we should have a plan before we leave this room so I can be good." He laughed a little bit as he leaned over and kissed her cheek gently.

Cleo nuzzled him right back, reveling in the fact that she could now touch and see him. "I love you so much, Alex." She replied in a gentle whisper.
"Hmmmm..." She said thoughtfully, moving to tap her lips with one finger as she considered the question. "I don't even know, this is all so surreal! I just don't want to let you go right now." She said, still thinking.
"Oh! I want to hear your music!" She said enthusiastically. "Pretty please."

"Ok so I have you covered there.. I totally had to bribe someone to get this.. buuuut... Reach into the pocket on my jacket.. There miiight be a CD in there of a few small things I worked on.." He beamed with pride. "I cooould also have someone get my Guitar and just serenade you for the rest of the day?" He chuckled a little bit rubbing his thumb on her back softly.
"Your choice... and you don't have to let me go again at all.. except to pack." He laughed a little bit grinning. "Do you wanna go do that so we can officially start this whole thing together..even though I will have to put you down.."

Cleo reached happily into his pocket to find the CD and beamed delightedly. “Oh yay! You’re the best!” She said, kissing his cheek.
She playfully and dramatically pouted. “Okay, you can set me down. You’re arms have to be getting tired anyway.” She said with a half smirk. “Let’s get out of here.”

He beamed with joy as he slowly sat her down, making sure she was stable before removing his hands, his thumb gently stroking the back of her thigh once as he winked at her. "Beautiful dress by the way." He chuckled as he offered her his arm. "I can walk you atleast to the door of the suite right? Then you can meet me later?" He asked as he waited for her to either take or refuse his arm before starting to walk to the door.
"Plus I think you have some gushing to do." He grinned.

She blushed as he stroked her thigh and complimented her dress. “Thank you.” She said flirtatiously. “Of course you can. I don’t want to let you out of my sight for any longer than absolutely necessary.” She said as she took his arm.
“Oh so much gushing, absolutely.” She agreed with a playful wink.
