After hearing that the single ladies were having a sleepover in Shaan's room, Lainey had quickly asked Production to do a set up for the girls that got proposed too so they could gush about their men without the possible quilt of hurting the other girls feelings, but also so they didn't feel excluded. Production had proven themselves once again to be a speedy crew and had provided enough junk food to probably sink a battle ship. It was all set up in Lainey's room, where there was large squishy bean bag chairs and soft blanket's. She'd lit candles around the room to make it cozy and had told Cleo Saintclair and River Hughes to dress comfortable. She left her door open for them and was dressed in her 21-Pistols shirt and cotton plaid shorts. She had llama's on her socks and her hair was pulling into a very loose ponytail. She was in the process of opening a pizza box when she glanced up and grinned widely.

As excited as Cleo was to actually be engaged, and to get to finally see Alex tomorrow, she had felt a little...intentionally excluded from the other sleepover. She understood, but it still felt a little like being rejected. She was really grateful that Lainey had set something up for the three other girls and was excited to be able to gush without feeling guilty. She showed up to Lainey's room in light grey loose cotton pajama pants with little cactus' on them and a simple black tank. "Oh pizza!" She said excitedly as she came in. "I'm so glad you put this together." She told Lainey Yurkovich.

River had honestly been close to crying (again) when she realized that the other girls were having a sleepover and she wasn't invited. She couldn't blame them, under the circumstances, but technically she hadn't been proposed to, not yet. Still, she'd been through such a rollercoaster today that even one more thing seemed like enough to break her. She was indescribably grateful that Lainey Yurkovich had thought to include her with her and Cleo. She showed up in a literary t-shirt and white, pink, and grey plaid pajama pants. Her hair was braided loosely over her shoulder, to keep it from tangling while she slept. In one hand she carried a brand new box of tissues, and in the other the book that Penn had given her. She waved nervously when she arrived, but smiled at Lainey and Cleo. "Hi, ladies. I'll close the door, since we're all here?" she said it as a question, but she didn't wait for an answer. She was honestly eager to have their little safe zone walled off from all the insanity that seemed to be going on. It wouldn't really stop her from worrying over all of it, but she felt a little better at least. She hardly glanced at the pizza--she went immediately for something sweet, grabbing a cookie from the things that production had set up for them, and dropped onto a beanbag chair. "What a day! I feel like I just fit a whole month into twelve hours."

Lainey grinned and put the pizza in the middle of the floor when she saw Cleo Saintclair and River. She sat crossed legged and waved at them. "Not gonna like I felt a bit salty about not getting invited to the other one." She laughed. "Had flashbacks of not getting invited to Xia Keeton's sleepovers, so I said fuck it and made my own." She picked up a slice. "Plus I like you two." Lainey said winking before she grinned. She pointed her pizza at River Hughes . "Tell me about it, I haven't cried this much in like two years." She confessed before she took a bite. "So...How how you both feeling?" She asked. A grin slowly growing on her face. "Gush away with no worries. I feel like we've all been tight-lipped for fear of offending the others." She said taking another bite.

Cleo nodded empathetically when Lainey mentioned not getting invited by the other girls. "I mean, I get it I guess, but that doesn't mean it didn't sting. Like they were punishing us for being happy or something." She said with a tiny frown. But she soon waved it off and smiled, grabbing a slice of pizza. "I'm just happy to be here with you gals." She said before taking a bite and sighing into the taste.
After swallowing she spoke again. "Wow, that really hits the spot after a day like today." She said with a little laugh.
At Lainey's question she pursed her lips thoughtfully before responding. "I feel...completely overwhelmed, but also immeasurably happy." She admitted with a girlish giggle. "Alex is so amazing, I can't believe I get to actually SEE him tomorrow." She sighed dreamily. "I just hope he's not disappointed. I mean...everyone here is so pretty."

River nodded to Lainey's comment about crying. She probably hadn't added up to two years worth, considering how easily she cried in general, but still. She could understand the sentiment. Cleo's comment about worrying Alex would disappoint her made River genuinely gasp, and she stared at the petite young woman with wide eyes.
"You're kidding, right? You're so pretty. Like unbelievably pretty." She protested, genuinely shocked. it hadn't occurred to her that the others might be just as worried as she was--she'd just chalked it up to her usual body image issues. After all, it wasn't just Penn she was worried about thinking she wasn't attractive, it was everyone. She turned a little pink once she realized how loud she'd been.
"I mean, um, include yourself in that everyone! You're very pretty, and I'm sure Alex will like you just the way you are. I think that liking you as a person just like, boosts how pretty you are. It's a psychology thing." She shoved more cookie in her mouth to shut herself up.
