Reveal 4 - Valeria & Blake Meeting

Blake was pacing back and forth in front of the closed door, rubbing his hands over his face. Knowing Val was out there, no his fiancee, had him grinning like an idiot and like a man who was very quickly getting nearly consumed by emotion. He was already blubbering like a baby with the anticipation. He hadn’t cried this much in years. He ran a hand through his hair, taking slow breaths to try and make himself not hyperventilate, but it was getting difficult. He knew as soon as he saw her that she would take his breath away, and then probably plow right into him.


He took a moment to think about how he'd gotten to this point. The decisions in life he'd made that had gotten him to this point. There wasn't anything he'd change he decided. It had all led him to this moment. To Val. He wouldn't be changing it for the world. He was finally going to get what he deserved. 


He was dressed in his best, wearing a dark blue suit with a matching shirt and tie. The ring she’d made him was worn on his thumb as it was the only finger it had fit on. He had a ring box in his front left pocket and his pace quickened even more. “Deep breaths Blake.” He told himself. He gotten her roses, and went and picked them up. He needed something to do, so he pulled one of the roses from the bundle and went and stood in front of the doors. Feeling the metaphorical clock ticking, he took the rose he’d pulled out and stuck it between his teeth. Lightly biting it. He stared straight ahead, fighting the burn of tears stinging at his eyes. His heart was beating loudly in his ears, and he held the bouquet behind his back. He looked down at the ground, and slowly looked up once he heard the door click and begin to open.

For a moment, was pretty sure they were going to have to use a defibrillator on him as he felt his heart stop. It seemed like both him and Val were frozen in place as he they stared at one another. He grinned widely around the rose in his mouth, and he started to walk towards her slowly. For a split second when she turned away and walked back in he was worried, but that thought quickly dissipated as she turned and ran at him.

He already had the inkling she was going to come at him, so he dropped the flowers behind him and held out his arms while bracing for impact. She slammed into him, and he let an Ooof out, but her wrapped his arms tightly around her, and spun her around before he sat her down. "Hee Al, eem lake." He chuckled around the rose. He reached up and removed the stem from his mouth before he hugged her properly. He buried his face into her neck, breathing in her scent. "I like wife better." He murmured. He squeezed her tight and then leaned back so he could really look at her. He let a low whistle out. "I am a, very, very, lucky man." He said grinning wide. "You're beautiful," he told her, leaning in to press a kiss to her forehead.

If Val looked at Blake, she'd find he had blue eyes that were a tad on the darker side, and a scar under his left eye that looked like he'd been nicked by something when he was younger.

Blake grinned down at her. "I was being patient." He chuckled. "Damn right you did." He said. He gave her a thumbs up so she could see her ring on his thumb before pulled her tight against before he dipped his head to meet her kiss. One hand went to the back of her head, holding her to him while the other with the rose, wrapped around her waist.

He turned them quickly then, bringing her down into a dip kiss before he pulled away to look down at her. He took the rose in his free hand that wasn't holding her so she wouldn't fall on her ass, and then gently trailed the rose from her forehead, down her nose and then gently brushed it across her lips before he placed the stem back between his teeth and waggled his eyebrows at her. He brought them back up then, placing his hands on her hips.

He reached up for the rose and broke the stem, shortening it, before he reached up and tucked it behind her ear. "You are stunning Valeria Winter." He whispered. He bent down to place a light kiss on her lips and then quickly turned and picked up the bouquet. "My lady." He said bowing with a flourish of his hand as he held them up to her.

Blake reached out to rub her cheek with the back of his fingers, wiping away any stray tears that fell down those gorgeous cheeks of hers. "You and me both sweetheart." He murmured. He bent to kiss her head again. He grinned then. "Speaking of rings...

He breathed through his nose as he stepped back, pulling the black velvet ring box out of his pocket. He smirked at her or a moment, before he got down on a knee. His own tears began to show in his eyes as he looked up at her. Still in disbelief that she was his. All his. Sorry Parker... He thought. He'd scored big. His luck was finally turning around. He took a shuddered breath out and held the ring box up and opened it to the reveal the ring. "Valeria Maybel Winter, I know this is our third time saying this, but I can't get enough of hearing the answer." He said with a smile as a tear rolled down his cheek. "Will you do me the honor of marrying me, my angel?" He asked her.

Blake grinned widely, chuckling through his tears, as he took the ring out of the box and reached for her hand. He slid the ring on her hand, and then placed a kiss to the back of her hand before she pulled up and kissed him. He smiled into the kiss, hugging her close.

He reached up and cupped her face then, looking down into her beautiful blue eyes. So blue, he almost lost himself staring into them. "I am not going anywhere. And Dr. Winter as a very very nice ring to it." He grinned before he dipped his head to kiss her again. "I love you so much." He murmured. "Gaaaaah! I love you." He said again, quickly stealing another kiss.

Blake's face began to turn red and for a moment he was speechless. He let a laugh out though and reached up to run his hand through the hair she'd just rumbled.

"Val!" He chuckled, looking down at her with adoration. He ran hand his thumb quickly over hers after she ran her's over his ring and thumb, and stood there with a thinking look on his face, as he tilted his head side to side. Looking like he was making a decision, when he finally got to it, he suddenly swooped down. Wrapping an arm around her waist while the other went under her knees. He picked her up bridal style then. "Your wish is my command." He said grinned at her. Stealing a kiss before he would carry Val from the room.
