Here we are, the big reveal. These two have fallen in love inside the pods, have proposed, and become engaged all without ever having seen one another!! Is love truly blind? So far so good, but will they make it to their wedding day?
Today they became engaged and will finally get to see one another for the first time.
The Scene
They each are waiting behind closed doors, dramatic music plays, nerves and excitement at an ultimate high when finally the doors slide open automatically at the same time.
Between them is a long room with a strip of red carpet that leads to the other door, the walls are lined with greenery, roses, and candles and to reach each other in the middle will take several long strides.
Guidelines
- For your first post you will write a description of your character waiting behind the door, their thoughts/feelings etc. At the end of your writing you'll write about the doors opening.
- Below your writing please put a photo of your character at the bottom of the post and centered.
- AFTER your faces have been revealed you are free to change your account pictures whenever you're ready.
- At the end of the thread feel free to have them leave the room together.

She stood on the other side of the door, her entire body shaking as she was trying to even out her breaths. It was finally happening she had made her choice and though it sucked and hurt she was panicking over the first time she would see her wonderful Flynn, her one and only. She had chosen a black and red dress to wear as well as some boots to match it. She was holding his shirt in her arms and was shaking like a leaf. She was scared and excited, guilty and ready. She wanted to look this man in the eyes and kiss him until HE of all people was ready for a break. She was wearing some eyeliner with no mascara and red eye shadow. She knew better than the mascara. This boy had already ruined a lot of it.
It had been a fucking whirlwind with him and on this show in general. She had fallen in love twice, had her heart broken, broken a heart. Shared her first kiss and her first date.. and now she was about to share the rest of her life with the guy who she had thought just wasn't that into her. There was almost a sense of calm that was washing over her. She was about to finally get to see him. Oh shit she was about to see him. He was about to see her! The panic came back with a swing to her guy in full force. What if he didn't like her, what if she didnt like him? What if this whole thing was some mist- no. Parker was not a mistake. This was good and this was happening.
When the doors began to open she shook harder, visibly trembling with tears in her eyes. She was already wearing the ring he had given her and her opposite hand she was holding onto it, clinging to herself for dear life. "Oh god oh god...oh fuck.." She almost sunk to her knees as the doors opened fully, almost.

Parker had never been this nervous in his life. Give or take, Parker wasn't often nervous. His mind wandered to all the other times he was nervous. When he found a note on the door. When he was waiting at the altar past the wedding March with all eyes on him, when his shaking hands put a ring in a bathbomb. This was a different type of nervous. It was butterflies and he was nervous enough he could puke, but there was no fear or hurt because this time he knew deep in his duct tape heart that this one was going to stay. It had been 5 days but it had technically only been maybe 3, and that maze was a lifetime and the pods right after another one. There had been so much hurting and hoping to start the whole thing off, so Parker was sure that the amount of loving that would come next would more than make up for it. Every girl that turned him down that day was nothing compared to what he was in for. In all honesty, Parker just wasn't into the suit and tie thing, so he just kept on Shaan's hoodie, but did put on actual dress pants and some electric blue high top chucks. He fidgeted with the ring on his finger and took a deep breath as the doors opened. |

When the doors opened she almost dropped his shirt as she threw her hands to her mouth, she looked at him for a moment before she ran full sprint into him, hitting into him with a small thud and a hug. She was still shaking like a leaf. "Oh my god oh my god... You.. You look you... Oh god you're really hot.." She let the words spill out as tears welled up in her eyes. This was her Parks, her dashing prince that would totally question why a butterfly was singing but jump in anyway.
She looked up at him and grabbed his face not waiting for a moment and pulled him into a deep and long kiss. The boots certainly helped since they added a little height. She was ready to just kiss the face off the man but felt her cheeks burn as she realized there were cameras. "..I love you Parks.." She gave a stupid dopey grin to him.

Parker had no clue what he was expected, but he's pretty sure it wasn't this. Shaan was even cuter in person, like a tiny little butterfly which in his mind made her sound even scarier if he thought about it. He had the biggest, dumbest grin on his face as he saw Shaan come running across the room and got ready to catch her.
"You're so pretty I think I'm going to cry" Parker said, as he started crying before a kiss shut up. He savored it, just leaning in and enjoying. See, there was always a rainbow after being dumped many times in a week. This was the best rainbow ever. He picked her up and spun her around, "So does this count as catching up and sweeping you off your feet?" he ask with a tearstained goofy grin. "I love you so much Shaan."

"And you! You're so handsome.. like you're amazing and I was so not expecting this but like oh my god." She laughed as she just hugged him tightly. She squeaked as she was picked up immediately wrapping her arms around his shoulders and holding on for dear life. "Yes, I would say yeah.. you totally have swept me off my feet.." She grinned at him as she let a hand touch his cheek lightly, letting herself just look at him.
"Parks..I love you too..So god damn much." She laughed as she lightly tapped her nose to his, her entire face beaming with joy. "I was worried you'd look at me and regret this honestly.. Youre so freaking hot like..Come on."

"Woman, you are some kind of crazy," Parker told her, giving her a little nose nuzzle, "but I love it. You're just so gorgeous and wow you're a good kisser and just wow..."
After another all too polite peck on the lips he set her down, "Ok, ready for your very first vacation?" he asked taking her hand, and definitely running a finger over her ring in disbelief this was actually happening. In that moment there was no more heartbreak and his heart didn't feel like duct tape or a piñata anymore, it was just hers.

"Ok so I do have a little surprise..courtesy of Vals stellar advice last night..You cannot look at it till you're in your room though packing." She chuckled a bit as she took his hand, reaching into her back pocket to pull out a brown bag as she slowly, almost suspiciously slid it into his back left pocket.
"...That looked like a drug deal...Yes I am so so so ready for this vacation!" She was practically hopping up and down as she held his hand, the realization of it all hitting her and she was buzzing, almost dragging him to the door.

Parker raised an eyebrow when he felt something get slipped into his back pocket. "Ummm should I be concerned about this?" he asked slowly.
"I mean like... I can just like leave it and not pack because it's just... ya know... clothes..." he said. "Fine... I'll go pack," he said with a huff, "But I'd have to stop looking at your perfect face..." he pouted. "And not be kissing you..." he said before sneaking in another kiss.

"...Oh god I took Vals advice... I could just like.. take that back?" She said with a nervous laugh. "Youll like it. Val is lowkey kinda a perv and there were a lot of booze and it sounded like a bomb idea at the time." She grinned.
"Unless you're gonna walk around the resort naked.. which like is a okay by me.. buuut I would probably deck a girl if she stared." She said with a laugh as she snuck in another kiss, softly biting at his lower lip before grinning innocently. "So we go pack and meet up sooner than soon?"

"No, no... I wanna know... but let's just say knowing this is Val's idea makes me just a tiny bit scared now. Did I tell the first thing she did on our second date was prank me? I still have to get her back. You'll help right?" Parker said, patting his back pocket.
"Ok. Packing time. I can't wait to see you again." Parker said, kissing Shaan's forehead and then dashing back to the men's suite where the first thing he did was fish the package out of his back pocket and open it.
