It was two days after the pool party and Penn and River were itching to do some more exploring of the city of Santorini. As much as they were enjoying each other's company they decided it would be fun to bring along some friends. River had become close friends with Cleo and Lainey and so they decided to make a triple date out of their outing.
The agenda? Window shopping/actual shopping and gelato, and perhaps they would end the day at the beach to watch the sunset or something. They were happy to go with the flow.
So they met the other couples outside of the resort to start their wandering through the city.

River used her hand to shade her eyes as she looked up at Hugh Pennington with a grin as bright as the summer sun. She'd already prepped herself with the strongest sunscreen she could find so that she could get away with wearing a dress with spaghetti straps without turning herself to a crisp. Her wavy brown hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, and cute little ice-cream-cone earrings dangled from her earlobes. "I'm so excited! I've never gone on a double date before, let alone a group one like this. I think it's going to be fun!" She bounced a little onto her toes. "Plus, it's so gorgeous here, even if we just walk around for a while it'll be nice." |

Alex was excited about the notion of going on a group date. It would be fun to hang out with everyone and get to know them a little better. He came down with Cleo Saintclair, he wore a pair of white torn jeans and a simple red t-shirt with his favorite pair of boots. He spotted Hugh Pennington and River Hughes and made his way over to them with a wave.
"Hey guys, Morning." He said with a smile as he looked at the two of them, they made a pretty nice couple actually. "Thanks for inviting us out today, It'll be fun to go explore the city." He said softly as he looked over to Cleo with a broad grin.

Cleo had been absolutely delighted at the invitation to join the others to explore the area. It always felt nice to be included, it was always a subtle fear of Cleo's, being excluded. However, Lainey Yurkovich and River Hughes had always made her feel so comfortable at at ease.
She wore a lightweight white top and stripped shorts, her hair tossed into a pony tail and of course her sunglasses. She had opted for comfortable flats rather than sandals with no support and anything with a heel, she did not want to walk around in anything that might hurt her feet.
"Yes! Thank you! I'm so excited!" She said enthusiastically and squeezed Alex Knight's arm as he smiled at her.

Dean and Lainey Yurkovich were last again, of course, as was becoming typical of them. Dean wasn't even sorry. They were never late...or not very late anyway. Honestly it was his fault, he liked to distract Lainey as much as possible while she was getting ready. Sometimes with kisses, sometimes just swatting at her cute butt, sometimes just doing little annoying things like poking her or staring at her or hiding her brush or shoes.
"Hey-O!" He said zealously, tossing a hand up in a wave to the group as they approached. "This is going to be awesome! Let's do this thing!"

She loved this man, she really did, but she also wanted to smack him sometimes. Lovingly of course! She'd spent five minutes laughing her ass off as she tried to get ready, but Dean wanted to be cheeky. She was looking forward to this. It would be good to get out and explore and what better than with a group of friends? Lainey had never really had girlfriends before, so this was certainly a treat in and of its self.
After slathering on as much sunscreen as she could and putting her sunhat hat on, Lainey was dressed in a simple flowy top, jean shorts, and sandals. She had her sunglasses hooked into the neck of her shirt, and she held Dean's hand as they spotted the others. Waving along with him in greet. "Hey gang!" She said grinning widely. "Riiiiiver!" She said practically bouncing over so she could loop an arm around her and give her a side hug. "This was such a good idea." She whispered in her ear before she grinned. "Alright where we headed first?" She asked.
