PERSONALITY
Dislikes: coffee, spicy foods, loud noises (ex: fireworks)
General personality: River is a shy and gentle person who hasn't done much in the way of seeking out love. She's been on a few dates during her time as a student, but now that she's on her own there's no one to pressure her into it, and less people her own age around. She loves working with students on their research projects, and gets excited about interesting new psychology and sociology research. Her favorite books are epics (Beowulf, Illiad, Odyssey, etc).

HISTORY
Family Members: Mother: Carrie (deceased) Father: Dave
General History: River's parents were both teachers, and they encouraged a love of reading and learning in their daughter from an early age. Her mother passed away from bone cancer when she was only five years old, leaving her alone with her father. He is a kind and loving father, but terrible at household chores and always busy, so River learned how to care for herself from a young age. She spent most of her free time reading library books her father brought home for her, or whatever he was teaching his high school classes at the time. The two of them bond by watching (and critiquing) movie versions of classic books.
Due to her lack of contact with children her own age, River has a bit of social anxiety when it comes to speaking with peers. She has a much easier time with children and the elderly. She is nervous about participating in the dating game but hopes that not being able to see the person will help her face her fears.

ROMANCE
What brought you to this experience? Curiosity. It's a fascinating experiment, so when I heard about it I couldn't resist
What are you most looking for in a spouse? Empathy. I want someone who is aware of my needs the same way I am aware of theirs, who can put themself in my shoes.
What are your relationship pet peeves? I don't like to be told what to do. I don't mind suggestions and guidance, but being pressured into things makes my anxiety go crazy
Romantic History: She has had several massive crushes on her father's high school students (while she was in middle school) and then in college on her professors. She actually had a relationship with one professor after she had completed his class, but broke things off when he wanted to become intimate.
