You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)
Occupation
Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse
Hobbies/Passions

- Posts are limited to 150 words! The idea is to give your characters a little taste but leave them wanting MORE!

Cleo chuckled too. "Definitely crazy." She admitted as she moved to sit down. "I'm Cleo. Nice to meet you, Penn." She said to him. "So...um...what...do you do? For work?" She asked, clearly feeling a bit awkward but trying to push past it.

"Ya, it can be, but I find it really fun and satisfying when you finally get the code right." he replied. "Hmm, on a rainy day? Anything inside." he said with a little laugh. "Probably playing with my dogs and taking stuff apart to put it back together again. It's nice to do something hands on. Coding is awesome, but it's nice to really get into a physical object." He answered.

"Well, I'm from Sacramento originally and that's where they are all. I grew up with my dad, step-mom and two step siblings. They are all awesome. I feel lucky to have them. What about yours?" She replied.

"Sacramento, that's awesome. It's a good spot, just close enough to everything. Not too far to the beach or San Fran, the redwoods. I'd totally live in Sacramento." He said.
"I've got my parents, my dad is a farmer actually up in Montana. My older brother is married with two crazy adorable daughters, and my younger sister is also married with a little boy and another baby on the way. I'm behind, obviously, but that's okay, I'm here." He gave a little chuckle.

Penn chuckled. "I sure try to be. It's hard to live so far away from them. But I try to send them pictures or videos. I send gifts and we have fun when I come to visit. I teach them all my video game skills." he said with a little laugh.

"Aww, that's so sweet. I love that you have that connection to them. I'm sure they wish they had you closer as well." She told him.
"Oh right, I never answered that, sorry." She said with a little nervous chuckle. "I'm currently working as a secretary while I go to school to get my business degree. It's not super exciting but it pays the bills." She told him.
"So are you a pretty big family guy? Do you want kids of your own someday?"

"Ya, I don't super get a long with my older brother, but I still love him...I guess." he said with an air of joking. "I like my job though and my life here right now so I'm not aching to move back to Montana, even if I do miss it. I go back to visit often enough." He explained.
"I'd love kids of my own. I'm 34, so probably on the sooner rather than later side. I'm not sure how many I'd want, probably not more than...three or four, I'm open to that discussion with my wife, I don't have a hard and fast number by any means. And you?"

"Ya, I'd love to have a family. I'm not sure how many kids I want, or when. I'm not in a big hurry honestly, I'm only 23. But definitely in the next few years. I'd like some time with my husband to just be...us, before adding kids to the mix."

"Ya, that's totally valid. It's definitely important to learn how to become a married couple before adding kids into the mix. I've seen several couples who have kids right away and their relationships can become strained. Of course I've seen strain in any number of scenarios as well. I guess ultimately people have to do what's right for them and not just what everyone thinks they should do, you know." He said.

"Yes, so all of the above." He said with a little laugh. "I miss Montana sometimes, I did love the cold and the snow there. However, I'm also enjoying the warmth and sunshine of San Diego. I don't have strong opinions either way, I'd be happy to try somewhere new. I'm not particularly drawn to a specific place, as long as I had the right job and the right woman then I'd be happy anywhere." He said.

"Um, ya. I mean, I love California and being close to my family, but I've never lived anywhere else before. I've been on a few vacations but not much. I'd maybe like to see what other places are like before deciding where to settle down. If it worked out that way anyway, I'm pretty easy going. If that's not what was in the cards then I'm happy to go with the flow too." She explained.
