You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)
Occupation
Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse
Hobbies/Passions

- Posts are limited to 150 words! The idea is to give your characters a little taste but leave them wanting MORE!

“Me too! I think I was the only one out of the girls that wasn’t really nervous.” She laughed. “It’s been definitely fun! I’m a social media content creator. So business’s hire me to do their motion graphics and stuff, or logos. I even get to make cool videos sometimes.” She explained. “Ooooooh music huh? I gotta ask do you play an instrument or sing? I used to be really into music once a upon time, had recitals and everything.” She said in fond tone that implied she didn’t play like she used too. “I’m all ears.”

"Oh that sounds really cool actually, I don't think I've met anyone that does that sort of stuff." He gave a small laugh. "I play guitar and sing, that's my usual routine. I play a lot of rock, and you're gonna get to be the first girl to hear me sing now" There was another laugh and the sound of him clearing his throat.
"I keep trying to hit rewind, erase those nights without you, All these lies run through my mind cause there the weapons that I use." He actually sang, his voice was a low rumble, when speaking he had a certain grit to it, though when he sang it was clear, a deep purr. "And I have totally made an ass of myself I bet.. I get told I sound kinda like the singer from HIM but a bit..deeper."

"Wait really?!" She said excitedly. Settling in on the sofa. She closed her eyes to listen to him, and when he was done, she began to clap for him. "You sir, have got an amazing voice. I like the grit in, it's very unique and when you're a rockstar on the radio, I'm going so going to know it's you." She laughed. "It's very sexy. I like deep voice." There was the flirting that had so far not come out.
"I used to play the violin a lot, but I don't anymore. I used to be all over the place with the type of music too, like I used to play The devil went down to Georgia, and then switch to some Phantom of the Opera when I could. Pretty much If I had the sheet music for it, I played it." She said. "What made you get into music?"

"Well I happen to like your voice, very much so actually And there was the flirtation taking over. "I'm sure we can find atleast three things you like about me. I'll find about ten I like about you."
"Thats actually really cool, I'm jealous a bit that I never learned something a little bit more classical and refined. Now I just take my shirt off on stage and smash something." There was a small chuckle. "Ah the heavy question. So when I was younger I kinda dealt with the whole "I'm adopted and I dont know how to deal" phase, I got in with some bad people and bad substances. Music kinda was the one constant thing and It helped me through all that bad. So I wanted to make it."

"Yesss!" She said happily. Clapping her hands. "To Lainey, my biggest fan." She told him with a giggle. "Oh really? Watch yourself rockstar, I might make you tell me those ten things by the time this date is over." She warned him.
"I know that feeling. There was a lot of shit going on when I was younger and throughout highschool. Music was my escape as well." She let a sigh out. "Wanted to make a career of it, but shit hit the fan, I had a duty to my family, so I accepted my fate and moved on to something else." She said. "Not to sound rude, but is it safe to assume you're out of the bad crowd and bad substances?" She asked curiously.

"Don't worry, I'm making a note right now to put it in there." He laughed a bit. "Well I do have backup plans..I want the music life to work out but I understand It's hard.. so my backup is to work with my dad as a mechanic. It's not really rockstar life but it's safe, so I get where you're coming from.. do you still do music as a hobby?" There was a sad tone to his voice.
"Honestly, really fair question and I don't think it's rude at all. I was like fourteen, I've been almost Eight years clean. That whole life just wasn't for me, I'm lucky I came it out of it alive and without a record. The worst people I'm around now are the greedy squirrels outside the apartment complex.. sneaky bastards always want my fries."

"Unfortunately no. I was 17, had to sell ole scooter to help pay bills, and essentially thought my music career was over. I was reaaaaaaal salty about it. Haven't picked up another violin since. However since being here, I'm thinking that might have to change." She said thoughtfully.
She let a burst of laughter out at the squirrels. "You need a Dug, he'll be all over them for you and your own personal bouncer." She laughed. "Dug is my dog." She said in clarification. "Boy loves squirrels."
"I'm glad to hear you got out of that stuff. I'll be honest with you Alex, I don't like the party scene and I don't like drinking. But If you want fan support I'll be there with my Dr. Pepper and cut off jeans." She told him.

"I understand that, you really should pick it back up.. Life's short and you should hunt down your dreams." There was a pause. "I love animals, I just haven't gotten one yet, after this I am totally planning to get one." He chuckled.
"I don't really party much either honestly, I don't like to be around large groups.. my work is work but I understand that I guess..."

"I might just have too." She laughed. "I do too! Their honestly amazing, and having Dug helped me through a real rough patch in my life. What sort of pet do you want?" She asked.
"Mostly for me it's certain groups." She said with a nervous laugh. "Dad was...well he was an alcoholic. So I tend to try and avoid the stuff. Brings up to many bad memories." She admitted. "So other than music, what do you like to do Alex?"

"I like dogs and cats though I probably would want a dog, a Pyrenees probably, just a giant ball of fluff and teeth." He chuckled.
"I can fully understand that, I wont lie that I do drink, but If the person I'm around isnt a drinker or isnt comfortable with it I have no issue setting it down, but I get the reserve." There was a small silence. "I do like a few casual video games, I'm learning how to sew because..lets be real tasteful goth clothes are hard to find and I need those for the stage. Learning how to cook a bit better is a passion project for me. I just kinda pick up hobbies when I get the notion to do it.. What about you?

"It's not so much that I don't mind people drinking around me, I mean, you are an adult and in charge of your own body and don't need me raining on your parade, but like. I know my decision respect it sort of thing. I had an ex that was really controlling and wouldn't let it go, soooo." She explained. She laughed when he said he was learning to sew. "I love it. It's actually pretty smart honestly." She told him. "I like the exploring hobbies vibe. It must keep things interesting." She said.
"I like to be pretty active when I'm not working. So I run, go for walks with Dug, go to the gym, hike, pretty much anything there is to do. I can't sit still for long unless I'm enthralled with work, so I'm always having to move."
