You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)
Occupation
Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse
Hobbies/Passions

- Posts are limited to 150 words! The idea is to give your characters a little taste but leave them wanting MORE!

"I'm a Social Media Content Creator." She explained. "So essentially I make business's motion graphics, logos, help with videos, advertising, all that good stuff for their social medias. Pretty much whatever they want, I make." She waited for a reaction before she said, "What is it you do Blake?" She asked.

"Oh that's cool! I've always wondered what you would need to do to make those sort of things." He said. "I'm a Resident Trauma doc, so pretty much I'm still technically a doctor, but I'm specializing right now in Trauma. Once I finish my residency, I'll be a full-fledged Doc." He explained. "So I get to work in the ER, and then possibly give you emergency surgery if need be." He said. "What is it You like to do fun?"

"A lot of patience and coffee." She laughed. "Ooooo a doctor huh? So you can patch me up when I undoubtedly fall on my face at some point?" She laughed. "I'm a major klutz, so I see the benefits of having a doc around. That's really cool."
"Well, when I'm not in the dungeon, that is my studio basement, I like to take my dog out on walks, go to the gym, run, just be as active as I can. A lot of people are really surprised when they find out I'm not actually a fitness instructor or something." She laughed. "What do you like to do?"

“Yeah I could do that.” Blake laughed. “I’m really good at applying bandaids.” He chuckled.
“Nice! I try to be outside as much as I can too when I’m not working. My biggest hobbies are Gardening and Cooking. So I like to grow my own herbs and vegetables and then cook with them. Saves me money at the grocery store. Really I like anything that keeps my hands busy.”

“That’s actually really smart. I don’t think I have the patience to garden though. Pretty sure I killed one of my moms house plants once.” she smiled. “I’m just high energy in general. I like to just gooooo, when I’m not working. Don’t get me wrong, I do like a good cuddle, and netflix, but I gotta stay busy.”

“Oh really now? Well I like girls who can eat, what’s your favorite dish? Or something you really like to eat?” He asked curious.
“I’m kind of a bit intuitive, and frugal. Habits from when I was a kid that leaked over into me being an adult. I also cook enough food to feed a small army and take leftovers to work with me so the staff on shift can eat too. Everyone gets excited when they know I’m working.” He laughed. “I totally get that. I was high energy too. They put me in band at one of my highschools, and the teacher let me play drums so I could beat my energy out.”

“I feel ya there too. We had to be careful how much we spent growing up too. Mom turned into a coupon clipping queen.” Lainey giggled. “That’s so nice of you! I can imagine why they like it when you're on shift if you bring dinner.” She laughed. “Is there something they really like that you make?”
“No way! I think I met two musicians already today.” She laughed. “You’re the third. Are you guys going to become a boy band or something while you're here? You could call yourselves the LIB boys.” She said amused. “I used to actually play violin in school too. I wasn’t in band band, but I did have some recitals. I spent most my energy running around on the track before going home and jamming out to Phantom of the Opera.” She said.

Blake burst into laughter when she said they should become a boy band. “Wouldn’t that be a sight, we’ll be the new America’s Got Talent.” He snickered. “Well if you play the violin you’ll have to join us! We gotta have our leading lady.” He said flirtatiously.
“Can’t say I know about the Phantom of The Opera.” He admitted. “I used to do more 80’s rock covers. That was what I listened to a lot of back in the day.” He said. “I also only jammed out while at school. My foster parents at the time didn’t have a drum set, and I don't think the old lady that lived above us would appreciate me practicing.” He chuckled.

"I can see it now." She giggled. "Ooooh no Doc, I've had my fair share of recitals and being in front of an audience. This is strictly boys only." She laughed. "It's like, one of my favorite musicals. Aside from footloose and Cats." She said. "The music for it is just beautiful, I would literally play the melody for hours. My brother came in one night and begged me to play something else." She said wistfully.
"I don't think she would have either." She laughed. "Were your foster parents supportive in your music endeavors?" She asked curiously.

"Awe come on!" He whined before laughed. "Man I can imagine. I know what it's like to just play a song on repeat, especially if it really speaks to you." He said.
"Uh, those parents were sure. I think they were happier I wasn't being that kid making to much racket, so I only played while I was at school. I used to get up extra early, or stay after to practice since I didn't have my own set at home." He explained. "Haven't played in a really long time, but it'd be nice to see if I still got some rhythm." He laughed. "Do you still play your violin at all? Bring it with you? We really could make Lainey and the LIB boys become a thing." He said in a suggestive tone.

Lainey laughed. "No, I didn't. I unfortunately had to sell my violin my junior year so I could help pay bills." She said sadly. "Money was tight, and I took one for the team you could say. I haven't gotten another once since. I think because I was so bitter when I sold it, I didn't want to touch another one ever again." She laughed a bit nervously. "But that was several years ago. I think I might get a new one once all this is done and over with." She said thoughtfully.
"So what got you into cooking and gardening?" She asked.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you get another one." He told her encouragingly. "Ah, so when i first started college, I lived in a house with several roommates and one of them liked to garden, and they sort of got me into it. Since then I always try and have a garden if I can, because it saves money to grow your own food." He explained. "Eventually I think I actually want a farm. This way I can get those farm fresh eggs and that good stuff." He said thoughtfully. "I've been cooking since I was really little. I had to pretty much teach myself if I wanted to eat, so I had the cooking channel on whenever I could. My first book was actually a cook book." He said.
