You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)
Occupation
Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse
Hobbies/Passions

We don't see each other a whole lot So yes and no? I love her but I can't say we're terribly close. What about you?" There was a bit of an awkward silence, there usually was when the family stuff was brought up. "What's your ideal Saturday night gonna look like if you find someone here?"

"Adopted too actually, mom and dad and three brothers. I get the weird dynamic though I do go over every friday night for family dinners. Would that be something you'd do or would it kinda be awkward?" There was a pause and a deep breath "Well I like to perform on weekends so getting up and lazing in bed together, breakfast in bed, ordered or cooked, and a lazy day until I have to go perform...which I would hope she would wanna come with. Hell if she was musically inclined we could duo. What about you?"

"Ok.. So I'll be really honest.. It would freak me out a bit to start it right up.. I'd of course meet the family and everything.. but weekly dinners right from the jump.. That might be a no from me... I uh.. Also like to get up and start my days with some training.. Not that I don't like to laze in bed It just usually isn't a weekend thing for me.. I get up and stretch usually, train for a bit and get a start on the day, anything that needs to be done I try to get it done early before work. There was a bit of a silence at the end.

"Well we are two really different people It seems like.. Why not just have a rapidfire deal or no deal? I want kids, like a couple. I kinda want a dog and a cat. I dont really do any sports or like any, I guess im a bit of a lazy bones if you get down to it. I like to relax and kinda go with the flow, planning a whole lot just isn't my speed."

"Thats... not a bad Idea really since this doesn't seem like it's going well.. Im iffy on kids, not that I wouldn't want any but maybe max two. I'm not the biggest fan of cats, Dogs and Rodents for me.. I like to stay active and busy with projects usually.. I'm not a control freak but I do like a guideline...So what I'm getting from this is buddies not lovers?"

"Wine usually isn't my favorite but I think we both could use a drink break. So tell me music boy, whats like your worst thing you don't wanna first date drop. My mom was murdered, thats why I dont really have parents.. She was a.. uh.. woman of the night, I was born, she tried to raise me, some dude killer and and I got adopted out. What's your story?"

"Ok yeah you're on. Fair warning, I am rockstar material, the chugging is customary." He laushed a bit but sputtered on a full mouth of wine. "Holy shit. Well I can get why that's a first date drop bomb. I uh, when I was a teenager I messed around with drugs and fought a lot, never got a record, never got hardcore addicted, but I was lucky. So I stay away from that stuff. My mom was just a teenage mother, still in school, did right for me and gave me up. Nothing quite so.. wow.. So what's a dealbreaker in a guy fro you? I can't really deal with snobby rich girls that don't know what it's like to struggle., Or people who think they're the only thing that matters"

Understandable about the past though, I got into a lot of fights as a kid too. A deal breaker...Someone who's full of themselves and thinks they're perfect, also a guy who plays multiple girls, like If there's real feelings exchanged I feel like that's that. Also if they don't like the idea of me getting like a Chinchilla or a hedgehog...It's happening."
