You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)

Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse

A laugh escaped her lips as she spoke. "It's Hindi actually for Pride, er peaceful pride, which is funny because I'm actually Russian." There was always an awkwardness with her name that she loved. "Dogs over cats, but I like Rodents actually, Chinchillas, ferrets, sugar gliders.. Rodents never seem to be an actual option though for some reason.. What kinda lifestyle are we talking because right now I'm picturing secret agent...I am but a lowly bartender."

Parker chuckled. "I know what you mean about funny names. My full name is Parker Domino, yeah that's my real name. My parents are from Taiwan and wanted to have American names that were easier for their patients so they picked Domino. You can imagine I got teased a lot as a kid because of it." Parker grimaced at the memory. It used to be awful but now it was a great ice breaker.
"I wish I was cool enough to be a secret agent, but I'm just a travel blogger. I used to be an architect. Bartenders are like a universal necessity. They're super important to my life because I've been drinking around the world and they all know what's up and where to go. I guess if I had like a hamster or something I could take it with me, just put it in my pocket right?"

Easy to travel with and they're literally called pocket pets. Well. Chinchillas may be too big."

"I went to a prep school, you can say just about everyone there was a weird kid," Parker said with a laugh. "No worries about the french, though I actually speak a little French." Parker held off on a dirtier joke.
And now for the big question.
Parker responded thoughtfully. "Ok so I've dated... quite a bit... in my past. I'm a travel blogger, so I travel a ton. Most women just aren't really cool with that. I kinda get where they're coming from, their boyfriend always going off on adventures and their lives being separate. I always said I don't want to have a girlfriend, I want a wife. I want a ride or die that will pack up and be right there with me on the adventures, and someone who not just tolerates it, but really loves and celebrates life. Fuck that was sappy."

" Ah prep school, little too suit and tie for my blood, I got blessed with public school, and a sterling extra curriculars list... Could you feel the eye roll there? Parents man." She laughed a little bit to herself. "I'll certainly have to hear it sometime." She let her tone drop into flirtatious territory.
"Thats understandable honestly. I cant really say I've actually dated. Yes make all the assumptions there are, you're probably on base. I just never had time as a teenager and as an adult...It seems like a lot of bullshit? I know what I like and I just dont want the games of dating, I want something real, someone to crawl into bed with at night and complain about whos gonna go turn off the kitchen light because we both forgot. Something cute I guess?"

I just want someone to share a life with, all the good and bad, even the petty things like turning off the kitchen lights. Of course, if that became a problem I'd just rig some remotes to fix that problem." Parker said, in an attempt to lighten the conversation. "But hey, I'm here to not make assumptions. I might be a prep school brat and yeah I went to Cornell, but I want someone that will forget all that and just see me and explore the world with me. Like fuck the expectations and just be. I want to see everything, learn everything, and yeah skip the bullshit. Do I sound crazy yet?" Percy had a light chuckle. "For the record, I don't think I'm crazy.

" Hey prep school or not you did the work to set yourself up in life, who can really judge that? Schooling and pedigree isn't even a factor in who someone is. I came into this with pretty much no expectations, I gotta say though, traveling the world sounds like a fun life, It sounds like a good way to just... be? I just want someone who's real. I dont want the fronting about who someone is or isn't, I just want them, I want em when they have food poisoning from too much junk food, I want em when they're at their highest. Thats what love is ya know.. and no, you don't sound crazy, even if you did who cares, The crazy adds to the fun right? She laugh a bit at the ending, though it may have come off a bit suggestive.

Parker let out a sigh of relief that she didn't think he was crazy. "I think crazy is a great thing, as long as it's the right crazy. Crazy is pretty relative. I quit my cushy job to travel and everyone called that crazy but I've never been happier. I like women who are crazy fun and that makes them crazy beautiful." Parker said with a laugh. "The travel life is amazing, but it's not always glamourous, sometimes you're in a place where you gotta rough it a bit and sometimes you get super lost and you can't panic. If you get a chance to travel, go do it because it's the most real thing you'll ever do." the natural growl in Parker's voice came out when he was passionate about something.

Shaan laughed a little bit, this was relaxing."Nah, doing what you love isn't crazy, hell I think doing something you hate is. When all this is done I'm probably enrolling in police academy..wherever I end up, Do something to make some amount of difference ya know." She thought for a moment about what to say next. "If traveling was all hotels and Fluff I wouldnt want to do it. I like getting a rush, that uncertainty of what comes next is a good feeling. I'll probably end up taking time to travel then, it sounds like I cant miss it." A chuckle escaped her lips.
"My flavor? I'm the bars unofficial bouncer. I've totally fought a man whos closing on seven foot. I'm an adrenaline junkie honestly. Most people think thats crazy, helps with the real crazy of life"

Ill get to use all these useless martial arts finally. I can see the epic chase now. Maybe I could go overseas, learn some new skills. Whats been your favorite place to visit.. Because I want you to know but obviously you can't see me." Parker actually had a shy laugh with this one. "Ok so I've gone to a lot of cool places so now I look at it as what type of place I want to be instead of just geography. Like in my lifetime I think I'll get to go everywhere. What I want is to be in a place where it feels warm. Not like temperature, but like with people I care about. I think what makes a place special are the memories that get attached to it. Well shit that came out way sappier than in my head."

"Ok so that just made me smile even more, and I didn't know that was possible," Parker admitted, "if my cheeks hurt tomorrow, I'm blaming you for it but I won't be mad."
"I think I have a different idea of home than most people. Like I don't really think it's a place, it's more like a state of being. It's like when you go somewhere and you just feel so free and that you can really just... be...I'd like to feel like that with a person, like every time I hold her hand or something." Parker couldn't believe how corny he was starting to sound, but that's what his heart told him to say.
"I've been to Hungary before, but not Korea but Korea's pretty high on my list since I love Korean food." He said that quickly in an attemp to cover up his inner cheesiness.

"I think home can be a place or a person, I'm kinda hoping to find a real home from all this, wherever and whoever it be. So we're clearly adding Korea into our little Parker and Shaans Infinite playlist tour huh?" She let out a small laugh. "I haven't smiled this much...like ever really.. So full deal breaker confession time... I uh.. am adopted.. And my family is kinda.. strange in dynamic.. Is it a deal breaker if a family dynamic is kinda a new thing for me, not saying It wouldn't be important.. but It'll have to come."

"You're like a really awesome person and it doesn't really matter to me where that awesomeness came from, just that it's here in the present. I literally live such a weird life that like five years ago when I first started my blog I'd never have been able to imagine this would be my life. It's so different from anything I've ever known or experienced. I think that's what I like so much about this whole experience, it's something that not even my dreams could make up and I might meet a woman so awesome she blows my perfect partner list out of the water. That's why I threw out the list before I came here."
Parker paused.

"People can be weird about families. I don't really have one and theres a lot of baggage with my birth mom. I know some people want the whole family dinners and gatherings but that just.. Isn't me? Not that Im not gonna meet your family and make the effort.. But some people just expect the social butterfly. A soft and warm laugh came from her, it was a happy one too. "I came here expecting to go home alone honestly, You're pretty great, I never had a perfect partner list really, some basic 'I hope he's more or less honest and doesnt cheat' but I've never expected to find someone really.. And it's nice to think I actually might have."
