You arrived yesterday and met all of your suite mates. Today is your first day of dates! This morning your phones were all taken from you and will be returned either when you go home or at the start of stage 3! No social media, no contact with the outside world, just a chance for you to focus on your connections with other people here. (You were told this would be the case when you first signed up to be a participant)
The first round of dates will be relatively quick. You'll get a chance to meet all the ladies/gents. The first dates will last about 10-20 minutes (IC) and the purpose is a short little getting to know you.
Here are some topics you might consider talking about (though it's TOTALLY up to you):
General lifestyle (partier/works a lot/spends most time at home alone)
Occupation
Hopes for this event/what you're looking for in a spouse
Hobbies/Passions

- Remember to keep physical descriptions out of your conversations.
- Each person gets only 10 posts in this thread!
- Posts are limited to 150 words! The idea is to give your characters a little taste but leave them wanting MORE!

"Oh, well, thank you." She sighed in relief. "It's nice to meet you. I decided to do this so I wouldn't have my brothers to 'help' me. They're well meaning, but sometimes their help just isn't helpful, you know?"

"This is my brothers helping me funnily enough. But I like it, this is cool, I totally get it though, I have three so the 'help' sometimes gets to be a hurt."
"Music is my job and my hobby, I like to visit new cafes and new places to eat, I'm kinda addicted to mexican food and am trying to find the perfect Guac. Really my hobby is kinda just living in the moment which is boring I guess. What about you?"

"A musician huh? What kind of music do you play? Care to hum a few bars? I'll pretend you have a guitar or something," she chuckled.
"Mexican food is good. The spicier the better. And have you ever made your own guac? I've got a mean recipe I could share sometime. It's fantastic with blue tortilla chips."

"God mixed family gatherings would be huge. Luckily I dont mind Goofy, my older brother Andrew has bright neon pink hair. Gaíre had neon green and Jace has neon blue. They like to stand out if you can't tell." He gave a chuckle at the mention of them.
"Alt rock usually, lots of covers and original stuff as well. Maybe if I get a second date I'll bring my guitar and give you the full experience. Last thing I played was Adams song by Blink 182, sad but good."

"Absolutely, we can have ourselves our own little welcoming party." He gave a chuckle "I mostly play indoors though I love the outside gig when I get the chance, something about a voice to the sky goes well. Writing and playing are usually night things for me, Whenever I get inspired but that seems to always be in the time when I should be sleeping."

"Alright, now, instead of just giving you an answer, I'll give you three chances to guess what I do. If you lose, you owe me a jar of salsa. If I lose, I'll make you a large tub of guac. Deal?"
She chuckled.
