First dates have been completed and they went well for some people and not so well for others. You submitted your list to The Producers of the top 4-5 people that you wanted to see again and The Producers organized dates as accordingly as they could. If there was someone you missed out on, there will be chances in the future.
The second round of dates will be twice as long as the first. You will have 4-5 dates total this round. For the second dates you are given full freedom to use your creative/romantic juices! If you want to provide food for your date, or a game, or basically anything you can think of then please free to do so, The Producers will provide what you need! The only rules are that you have to stay in your own pods. No seeing each other, no touching. So have at it and have fun!

Hey, Shaan!" Trout called with enthusiasm when he heard the door open and close in the other pod. "Boy am I glad to hear you. I have to admit, having to make a list kinda shook me up. It reminded me there's gonna be a whole bunch of other guys looking for your attention." He laughed.
"Listen, I'm sorry I didn't do anything dramatic--but honestly, I want to wait until I know the person I'm into well enough to really get it right, you know? No gimmicks." He hesitated. "I sound like, ridiculous, right now, but hey, that's kind of who I am."

"Hey Trout!! I'm actually super stoked to hear from you!! The list actually kinda wasn't that bad for me.. I knew who I did and didn't like...and the girls talking did actually help me be sure of it." She laughed from her side.
"So that's fine, I understand saving grand gestures or even small ones for people you're close to. But totally next date.. Im doing something." She chuckled and there was a small thump. "Sorry I just threw myself on the couch.. So how stiff is my competition gonna be." she laughed.

"Honestly...? I'm not sure. Our date was by far my favorite, and that's the honest to God truth. But, I don't want to put pressure on you, either, so uh, if you get any red flags or don't feel like this is going well, you don't have to feel guilty. You're way too badass to be held back in pursuing your happiness." He sighed.
God, I sound really fucking sappy. I keep doing that...I just want to get this right, I guess. Like--this is a bigass deal, and I want to make sure that I'm really going to make someone happy." He groaned.
"Sorry, sorry. I'm supposed to be having a good time, not dragging you into all this heavy stuff going through my head. Uhhh, we could talk D&D? You said you played with your martial arts teacher, right? Uhhh Systema? Please tell me that guy played a monk because he fits the role perfectly."

There was a laugh from her side. "You have no worries about putting pressure on me. I work just fine with it.. If I honestly wasn't feeling this we wouldn't be talking.. I will totally be real with you, Its you and Penn for me. You two I feel like I clicked with the most and I wanna get to know you guys better. Thats all for me though, theres no secret fight club for my heart.. I like you and right now my happiness is being here and talking to you." There was a genuine tone to her voice.
"Dude you can be sappy with me. Feelings intensity and thoughts don't scare me off, it makes people feel a lot more real to me. After our date I was grinning like an idiot and there may be some little hearts and paws around your name in my journal. Wanting to get this right is nothing to feel bad about."
Ok but yes!! D&D so he actually did play a monk, my moth was a fighter who wanted to be a paladin and we had a wizard who got a spell that let him conjure tea. It was wild..Also for the record I totally like being in your head."

Also, I didn't draw hearts in my journal because I can't draw for shit, but I definitely like, circled your name a few times...maybe underlined it..." He laughed.
"I dunno, man, I just really was blown away. Can't really put it into words. But hey, if we're gonna get all deep and shit, let's do it. We'll try and figure out if we can really do this thing, yeah? Alright, let's see, some like, high-level important stuff that would totally trash a relationship... Um, I kinda hate the president. He's an idiot. I do vote, butI'm not all about politics. I hate watching the news, it just makes me sad the shit people do to each other. I just wish people took better care of each other. Umm, what else... I like dogs and cats, so don't ask me to pick, can't do it. I'm not really religious? My family did the whole church on Sundays thing growing up and went to a Methodist church, but I never really felt at home there... I dunno, I'd be good with it if you wanted to make sure our kids grew up in the church. I see how much it meant to my mom, so..."

"Ok we're getting into it. I have political views, im pretty liberal but Politics isnt really something I care much for, so Im in the same boat.. I can say I agree about people needing to be better.. A huge part of why I want to be a cop.. I like dogs and rodents obviously. I want fish but I dont trust myself because of all the work in em. Cats are ok but I'm not the biggest fan of them. I grew up weird with religion, my grandmother exposed me to a lot of them to let me kinda have my pick? Im spiritual I guess but not religious, though I have no issue with religion.. If I had kids I guess I'd want them to grow up informed but free to pick."
"I knew this would come up eventually.. So the whole situation with my birth mom really is kinda messed up and it made me scared for a long time about ever having a family.. But I do think I want a kid at some point with the right person when it's the right time."

"I was born in a really small russian town to a whore.. Like literally. My dad was most likely a soldier from what Im told and she got her throat cut by a client one day... I was a toddler and I was home it took them a few days to find me. I was adopted by this woman who I just started to call grams. We did some digging on my mom.. Its what you'd expect from someone who lived in a slum at that time.. I don't want to be a thing like her."

She was a druggie and her mother bluntly stated she probably would have sold me. I dunno if I fell on hard times I would probably just like.. Sell vegan sandwiches for an insane amount because vegan food is always crazy expensive."

"As far as puppy love, goes, I don't really know. I had a couple girls I had crushes on during high school, but I've never really been this into someone. Seems like something different to me. I'm doing my best not to jump to any crazy conclusions and scare the hell out of both of us, but I really like you too, Shaan. A lot." He paused. "It's weird, we haven't known each other very long, but I feel like I can really be myself around you. I like that."
He paused again, then chuckled. "I feel like I ought to have some deep dark confession to go with the tragic backstory, but honestly, I'm a pretty boring guy. I didn't really have many friends until college, so I'm not the best at big groups and social stuff; I'm happier in a small group of people. Like, my mom pressured me into going to prom with my sister's friend, and I almost threw up I was so nervous. Other than that, I can't even think of anything to tell. So up until recently I actually used to take anti anxiety medicine.. It really kinda wasn't working for me anymore but I get it. I'm pretty shy unless I'm at work and even then it's kinda just playing a part.. Hell i get anxious ordering my own food so I do online orders and get takeout just so I dont have to talk to people." "Well, growing up I spent most of my time building things out of legos or playing video games until I got ahold of a computer. I taught myself how to code from the ground up, just because I wanted to know. It was all I could think about. I got through school OK because I knew I had to, and I couldn't have the computer until mom checked my homework. So I blasted through it as fast as I could. It was like...I don't even know. It was like I belonged there, sort of."
School was pretty much the same as homework--I just felt like I had to get through it. I got stuff done, but I wasn't really passionate...didn't join any clubs. I got to take a computer science elective, and I think that was the only A+ I got. I just...coasted. Taking my sister's friend to prom was mom's idea because she thought I was too anti-social. Honestly, I just didn't know how to talk to people. The typical geeky kids were either really into school or really into like, anime and card games, and neither of those really hit me right. So I just...didn't talk."
"In college, though, freshman year, I helped Travis survive a calculus class. They had two-person tables, you know, instead of desks? So he was always right there, hamming it up about how stupid he was, until I was finally like, dude--let me show you. Once I did, he just never stopped talking to me. I'm really fucking glad he didn't. I don't know what I would have done without him."

I didn't have any real friends honestly.. I just never made any. I tried once when I was little and they laughed at my face and just kinda didn't." She chuckled.

Not that they were bad parents, but...I think it would be cool to try and listen to what my kids are interested in and help them pursue it. What do you think, Batwoman? D'you want kids, someday? And to go forward with the crazy awkward, what do you want things to look like, in the future? Besides our flawless lawn, obviously, we'd need a place to live, and if we're both working, probably daycare...Or I guess I could work from home sometimes, and help with that part. Might be a little crazy, but hey, I'm pretty sure raising kids is nuts in general."

Go to bed and grumble at eachother that the other person is making them too warm to sleep and roll around.. Wake up and repeat. I just want a simple happy life."

Animals as a test run--I do have a fat cat already-- Then we can add kids when we're ready. I figure, every parent is just trying to do better than their parents did with them, right? Nobody's perfect. So I seriously doubt you'll mess up your kids--like if you're worried about doing it right, you're already on your way. Besides, you're sweet as hell, and I can tell you're a good person. I'm sure any kid of yours would be just fine."
