As the third dates were started you were told that this date would be much different than the ones you've experienced so far and they would take place in a location other than the pods. No real hints were given other than considering sensible shoes and maybe not going in your pjs.

Instead of being taken to the pods you are lead to a completely new part of the studio and a door you've never seen before. The door is opened for you and you step inside to a completely blacked out room save for one blue light that allows you to see the dimensions of the room. You step inside an approximate 6ft by 6ft space and you see a path ahead of you. As the door closes behind you, the light goes out, completely blinding you.
A recorded voice in an almost robotic tone plays overhead.
"Welcome to the blind maze. You may not be able to see but you can feel your way through. To get a visual, the maze is a square. You and your date are on the upper two corners of the square and the exit is at the bottom in the center. You must first find each other and then find the exit. You will be able to hear each other. Best of luck."
A small ding was heard that signified the beginning of the maze.
As you head down the path that you saw before the room went dark you eventually feel your way to your first turn. Do you go LEFT or RIGHT?
GUIDELINES:
- The maze is dark enough that you can't even see your hand in front of your face. You'll have to use feel to guide you through the maze.
- I will keep on top of these dates to guide you and tell you if you chose correctly. (Post order: Person A, Person B, Me. Person A and Person B can switch if you would like to. So if GIRL is A and BOY is B. Then it could go A, B, Me, B, A, Me if you want to)
- To make it easier for me so I don't have to read every single post please put the choice you make AT THE TOP of your post IN CAPS so I can see it easily!
- You may talk and chat while you try to move through the maze.
- Once you find each other you MAY touch, hug, etc one another! Yay! Due to this, you will also be able to describe certain physical descriptions of yourself. Remember that you can't SEE each other, only feel. Things you can describe if hands find their way there are for example: height (it'll just be easiest to say your specific height so you know who is taller haha), facial hair, length of hair, bony body or beer gut? (lol), texture of skin (soft, hairy, oily, acne prone), smell (sweaty? perfume?). You should not describe things like the color of your skin, eyes, hair, or anything else that can only be seen.
- Also each maze is predetermined and different from every other maze so no one can cheat and know the answers from previous dates ^.^
- There is no word count or post number restriction for this thread as it will be determined by how many wrong turns you make.
OTHER NOTES:
- I know there are people getting close to proposals. Please do NOT propose during this date. You may do so at any time after this date.
- When proposals DO happen please let me know so I can set up your reveal thread!
- HOWEVER, there is currently no rush! This is only day 3 remember and there are approximately 10 days (ic) before you'll run out of time. (I do not have a specific end date for stage 1 in mind yet, I'm playing it by ear based on how everyone is doing, but there will be a limit at some point)
- After this date it will be up to YOU to start further dates. Further details will be provided in a PM as we get close to the end of this date.

"Ok so I was born in DC, and then my family moved to Los Angeles when I was 16, I went to college in Ithaca, New York, and now I live in San Diego because the housing market was so much better there."

"I am proud to be a very special one of a kind Parker," Parker said with his goofy smile, "I try my very best to be a likeable person, because I just really know that even if I end up alone after all this, all the smiles and the laughs are worth it." he said, the casual thing he had been telling himself over and over again the past few days.
"But hey, at least for the next however long we're in here, it's just you and me," Parker stated, "I've already accepted that if marry someone I meet here, she's dated at least one of my groomsmen, so all that matters is who is right in front of me, or almost right in front of me."

"Say what?" Parker blurted out, genuinely confused. "Gem... I have no idea, really I don't. I'm messy and this is the most complicated thing I've ever felt." he said honestly. "Look, I've never had to make a really hard unchangeable decision before and I'm so used to jumping into things headfirst, but just one at a time. I like you Gem. I really really like you. But I won't lie and say I only like you because I feel things for a few people and everything is so fast even by my standards." he blurted out.
"Look, I've been in and out of love a lot in my life... I'm not sure I know what that difference between butterflies or fireworks or hangovers feel like anymore. I'm talking to you and some girls from yesterday, but the one thing I know is that I don't want to leave with any "what ifs" so I'm talking to the two girls I didn't get a chance to have a second date with."

Gem kept quiet, letting him speak. She yipped in surprise when the automatic voice told her she had arrived in the center. She let a little silence linger.
"I wasn't trying to put you on the spot, sorry Parker. I just...wanted to make sure that I wasn't a waste of your time. I don't blame you for having feelings for others...I don't exactly know where I'm at either. Except...I do know that the other girls are beautiful, young, and accomplished, and compared to them, I just feel so...boring." She sighed.
"I'm not looking for pity. I promise. I just...sometimes it's easier to face the facts head on and get over whatever disappointment they bring. Sorry if I made you feel any sort of way." Then, more quietly. "Now hurry up and find me, okay?"

Just because there used to be this one dumbass that didn't realize it doesn't mean that you aren't amazing."
"My ex thought I was too damn crazy... and well ok bad example but she also told me I was incapable of actually making a choice, and I wholeheartedly disagree with that because I'm working on making what could be the biggest decision of my life. Also if I do end up being a total disappointment you, there's always a chance to leave me at the altar," he added, one more hopefully not untimely joke.
"What I'm trying to say is that we're not perfect but love isn't about being perfect or whatever people call 'the best" He rambled as he padded down the maze.

Gem chuckled disbelievingly at the first part of what he said, but didn't comment on it.
"It really is a big choice...but then again, there's always divorce." Gem said casually. "Not that you'd want to...I don't want to. Seems way messier than...sorry, I don't know why I'm talking about that. I do agree with you. I've never seen perfect love. I wouldn't even know what to look for. I guess..." her voice changed a little as she tilted her head back, "a good love for me would be something comfortable. Not electric. Not edgy. Simple. Clean." She laughed to herself. "Boring."
